Some good results there mate. Still couldn't beat the **** though? Haha.
Just realised, is Dean Ashton on your patch??
Poor bloke.

**** you.
You already convinced me to make a west ham game.

Great start Max, just need to get the lads to raise their game against the lower rep' teams.

King warns players about City:
West Ham boss has warned his giant killing team that Manchester City will be a different type of challenge compared to United, Liverpool or Chelsea. King was quoted saying - "Manchester City are a different type of team compared to most in this division. They have an outstanding attack, with a great defence, but they are inconsistent, and you don't know what you're going to get with them, so we need to score earlier and settle down and defend if we want to win". :)

Hey, well here is the latest update and we're at January with 21 games played :)

Manchester City 2-3 West Ham (Diamanti 3):
Top class performance by the team and certainly Allesandro Diamanti. The Italian was bang on form in this game, and scored a hat trick in just 22 minutes :D Man City pulled a goal back through Tevez just before Half Time, but didn't get their second goal until the 91st minute via Gareth Barry, and we just about held on in a scrappy and lucky game for us.

West Ham 4-1 Portsmouth (Cole, Behrami, Diamanti, Riquelme):
A good solid performance against a weaker team which is a sign of big improvements as we were dropping points against sides like Burnley earlier in the season. We went ahead early on with Cole scoring on a rare start for the lad, but he impressed me here. They got a lucky equaliser from a Melchiot own goal, but we started banging them in and ended up winning 4-1. Good result :)

Sunderland 0-2 West Ham (Diamanti 2):
Brilliant result against a side who had been strong at home recently. Once again Diamanti scored for the 3rd game in a row, getting his 6th in 3 games. Good performance defensively and the midfield won every ball in midfield. Well played to the lads, they gave 100% and hopefully it won't hinder us in our next game after we used up a lot of energy.

West Ham 1-0 Wolves (Riquelme):

This is the sort of moment that defies a season. A last minute free kick from Riquelme won us the game and gave us a vital 3 points :D He's such a bargain for £5m, hopefully we won't lose any physical attributes or technical one's for a while, top class player. Big win :)

Hull 2-2 West Ham (Diamanti, Cole):
A game which we went 1-0 up early on, but Hull's fans really got behind the team, and gave them a big boost to put them suddenly 2-1 up. I brought on Carlton Cole in a bid for an equaliser, and it worked superbly. Cole came close to winning it in the end aswell if it wasn't for an on form Boaz Myhill . In the end, not such a bad result.

West Ham 2-1 Stoke (Otamendi, Cole):
Once again Cole scores the important goal for us ^^) I've kept my faith in him from day one, as he was quite poor to start with, but he seems to of found his feet in his advanced forward role. Great to see Otamendi get anothet goal for the club, he's been a rock at the back with Upson and doesn't get the credit he deserves at times. Good win.

West Ham 2-1 Arsenal (Cole 2):
If this isn't telling me and Mr.Capello that Carlton Cole is ready for the big time, I don't know what is ^^) We went 1-0 up pretty early on, with Cole smashing home from 10 yards out, and with not much time left, with 8 minutes to go Cole headed home from a Behrami corner to seal the win :D Although Arsenal didn't give up without a fight, with Bendtner grabbing a goal back. Amazing win and is it me or are we slowly looking like title contenders? oO)

West Ham 2-1 Fulham (Riquelme 2):
Good performance by the team in a game we needed to win to keep teams away from us in the league. Fulham had the best away record in the league coming up to this game, so we knew it would be hard, but when Riquelme is on form, we're always going to win. Great result ^^)

West Ham 2-2 Chelsea (Riquelme, Diamanti):
Well, after recent performance, there was a good chance of a win here, but how we actually scored 2 and didn't concede 10 I'll never know. We played awful, but still managed to draw vs Chelsea, amazing stuff. Robert Green saved our skin so many times it was beyond belief. We were actually 2-0 up until the 77th minute when Chelsea hit one back, and to my disbelief, they equaliser in the final minute with Lampard scoring. I was seriously gutted not to win, but we didn't deserve to, and that's just football.

Arsenal 3-2 West Ham (Riquelme, Diamanti):
Well, after giving 100% vs Chelsea just to get a draw, it was no surprise we looked bad again here against a good side. It was the 2nd time we'd played Arsenal in 4 games, so we knew what was coming, but with Cole out injured, we didn't have enough strength up top to out muscle them. & Once again, you can see where our goals come from, and who our best players are, Riquelme and Diamanti both hitting the back of the net again, for Riquelme it was his 4th consecutive goal in 3 matches.

Awards:

Defender of the season so far:
Herita Ilunga, with a rating of 7.13 in 24 games, he's been quality at left back. Matthew Upson and Otamendi were close 2nd and 3rd's, but Ilunga has been in a league of his own.

Midfielder of the season so far:
Juan Roman Riquelme, with a match rating of 7.33 in 23 games, and scoring 10 goals, getting 7 assists and 4 Man of the Match awards, he's been world class. If he keeps it up, we can break the top four.

Striker of the season so far:
Carlton Cole, now I bet some of you are thinking, what the ****? Surely it's Diamanti? But no, Diamanti has only scored 1 more goal than Cole and has started about 9 games more. Cole has been extremely profesional to keep his patience when he wasn't being played, and has took his chances when given them. Well played.

So, to give a quick summary, I'm absolutely amazed, stunned and delighted to say the least. We are 1st after Christmas, only 1 point clear of Tottenham who are second, so it will be an amazing title race, but I'd still be over the moon to finish 4th or 5th at this point, so we won't get ahead of ourselves, but if we keep playing like this, then you never know..

Spector completes £2.5m move to Toulouse:
Jonathan Spector has finally left West Ham after months of speculation. Spector hadn't played 1 game all season for West Ham, after an argument with gaffer Max King because of Spector originally rejecting an offer from Wigan after King has asked him to leave for transfer funds.

Screenshots of table, stats etc :):

If it's transfer time again have a look at Nicolas Lodeiro. Brilliant player for a brilliant story

Yeah, I was looking at him earlier actually. Riquelme could tutor him so I'll look further into it, cheers mate :)

Great results against City and Arsenal! I see a top four place on the horizon ^^)

Camacho signs on the dotted line:
Ignacio Camacho has completed a £3.8m move to West Ham from Athletico Madrid today after a fee was agreed in a previous loan deal. Camacho has made 10 starts for West Ham this season, getting 3 assists, and it was clearly enough to impress boss Max King to sign the 19 year old permanently. Camacho was quoted saying - "Dis is a fantastic opportunity for myself to improve as a football player, I tink I have ze ability to light up ze Premier League and I am still a young man with a lot to prove, I look forward to this challenge".

Great start mate! Tempting me to start with West Ham but could never compare with you to be honest

Cheers mate ^^) All a bit of fun really, West Ham is a great save to play :) Fulham is pretty fun too.

Anyone want any screenshots just ask :)

Can I have a screenshot of Green? Cheers Max. :)

Having a decent season. Should help his England chances. :)

Yeah, he was immense vs Chelsea and Man City, great keeper :) Getting old though so might look for a replacement next season, looking at Asmir Begovic, nice and cheap.
