Merchandise and Feeder clubs

So I've got Seattle and Guangzhou as my feeder clubs to boost my clubs profile, but how do i reap the rewards and garner the optimum amount of cash from the above affiliations? Do I sign high profile players from the respective countries or what? cheers in advance


Additionally, how much extra income will it actually give me? Enough if I do it right or is it not worth worrying about?

Buy high profile players from their country and this will result in increase shirt sales. You could also play friendlies in the country for higher attendances but i dont know if your club will benefit from the ticket sales unlike IRL. Overall though I don't think you get that much anyway. By the time you buy the player from the country the shirt sales are only paying back some of that money that you never had to spend in the first place!
Maybe this could be improved in FM14?
