Been a long time since I've done an FM story & the 1st time I've actually posted one on this site. I decided a few days ago that my last FM save of the year was gonna be with Everton, I have a soft spot for 'em IRL. Hopefully I'll be able to get at least a few updates out every 1-2 days &, all being well, gain some success along the way!
Any ways, enough of the reasoning & on with my aims for this save.
Short term goals
Ensure the club is financially secure for the future.
Qualify for the Champions League inside 4 years.
Bring through talented youngsters & establish them in 1st team.
Long term goals
Establish ourselves in the Champions League.
Become regular title challengers.
Win both the Premier League & Champions League.
Become the richest team in England.
Become the richest team in the world.
Have our academy on par with the best in the world.
Produce a team entirely made up of products from our youth team.
I took over with a budget of 6m after saying i'd finish in a safe mid-table position (just in case things go wrong 1st season). Also have about 30-40k left on wage budget, which should be enough until Jan transfer window.
Time for the fun to begin!!
P.S. I'm using the last database from LFCMarshall (4th. August).
