The board is to blame for the clubs demise. Poor decision making this season has lead to the club being relegated. Gary Speed didn’t exactly do a miraculous job, not much better than Adams so I can understand why they were happy to let him leave.
Micky Adams is a bit of a roulette though, you never really know if he will be a hit or a miss and unfortunately he was a massive miss. The best they can hope for is appointing a young manager who can work under a strict budget. I reckon Billy Reid of Hamilton or Derik MacInnes of St Johnstone would be perfect.
