Midfield Options for my Atletico Madrid save - Sissokko, Kroos, Sahin, Henrique...

Looking to improve my midfield on my atletico madrid save. 2nd season i won the champs league but just finished 3rd behind real & barca by a few points.

I currently have arturo vidal mcl ball winning defend and milan badelj mcr advanced playmaker support. Also have douglas costa/diego costa playing in the attacking midfield position behind aguero. Got verratti coming along niceley aswell and dont want to stall his development, may loan him out for a season.

Have 20mil to spend and can raise more funds by selling fringe players. Wondering what everyones thoughts were on where i need to improve to close the gap. Was thinking of benching badelj and bringing in one of the names ive mentioned above.

to bridge the "gap" you need a good box to box midfielder: are you playing narrow Amc or using Costa's out wide?

Playing a 4-2-3-1 system with AMR & AML both as inside forwards and there scoring for fun. Currently have Sanchez, Schelotto, Dos Santos & Reyes. Think ive got good quality there.

Maybe Badelj could be used as a box to box & i could get in someone better then the Costa's for the attacking midfield role in front?

Milan is no box to box mate he is quality, why do you want to sell him?

Douglas Costa is class and Diego Costa is very underrated too! I would sell Dos Santos, Reyes and Schelletto before selling Milan!

He has done well for to be fair Raikan. Think im just looking at spending the money for the sake of it possibly. Do you think Him and Vidal are a good partnership in the 2 central positions for me to challenge? Im happy with my attack. I was weak in both full back arears last year and still managed to win the champions league and ive strengthened there now and my front line with alexis sanchez instead of simao so maybe that will be enough for me to mount a serious title challenge? i was only 7 points behind last year.

Your right on Diego Costa aswell won spanish player of the year on my save and didnt start every game by a long shot, great in the whole behind aguero!

don't just spend for the sake of spending mate

start looking for regens from ASEC, Es Setif, Mc Alger etc etc

post a SS of your current squad, use your cash to buy good regen youngsters or still even good youngsters..
