I have been using a 433 tactic for a while, and it's been working well, but just recently I've been over run in midfield despite having the majority of possession. My three cms are advanced playmaker on the left, bwm right and dlp at cdm. please help why.

Opponent was probably playing a diamond formation

If you provide a screenshot of your tactic and team people will be able to help you more effectively

Have you considered changing the role of your BWM into CM support or defend? I guess it might be that with your playmaker going on advance positions most of the time and the BWM closes down the oppositions by default, the DLP ends up having to cover the spaces left on the midfield on his own, which is closer to the duty of an anchorman really.
