Hey, mate! I wrote a guide for playing the MLS in FM11 and may do the same for FM12. My first game was with DC United and I must say the MLS is completely different. They have implemented Senior Entry Level contracts, and reserve teams now, so it is easier for your fringe players to get game time. They have 2 options when you want to sell players as well. You can either A) Offer the player to MLS clubs (which you have no say on how much to ask for the player) or B) Offer player to non-MLS clubs (which functions as the regular offer player option does). Player attributes are more consistent and from what I can tell, teams like LA and NYRB won't run away with the league like they used to. If you have specific question feel free to ask and enjoy!
