Can some explain the MLS to me please, i wanted to try something different but its so random. i get the development contracts,

but i don't get the drafts, how can you make a good team if half your team is under 20 players you dont really want,

how much is a draft place worth in money, i don't know to bid for 10k player or 1 million player with the draft places.

and international slots as part of transfer, wtf?

would love an explanation.

thanks in advanced

International Slots

and international slots as part of transfer, wtf?
I can field this one I think.

I know every team is allowed to have a limited number of players from outside the US (or Canada I guess if your Toronto).

L.A. Galaxy for example would have been using an International Slot by having David Beckham on the team.

So by trading one of those slots for another player... your loosing the option of having a player from overseas... or on the flip-side in a deal where you gain an International Slot... you would have the option of bringing in another overseas player.

I'd imagine then that International Slots would be like gold dust as I presume the more of those you have the better you team could be.

I think thats how that system works...

As an aside... if you check Toronto FC's history... you'll see that the biggest win they ever had was 4-0 against Dallas FC. I was on holiday in Toronto last year and was at that game!
