I have to ask... who is that in your avatar?

Didn't think you watched anime, so I have to know.

On topic: I think I'm nearing the 5 days played mark. My score is low for my rank because I play TDE almost exclusively.
 
It's Prince Zuko from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

I downloaded all 3 seasons the other day and I loved every minute of the show, despite its Nickelodeon origins.
 
And so it begins... the anime world gets it's claws into another one.

That's insane. It took me 3 days to get to level 70 first time around, on that basis it would take me twice as long to hit 10th prestige

Did you play mostly Team Deathmatch though?

It's notoriously slow-going when playing TD games, compared to S&D or HQ for example.

TDM or Domination, but I play the objective most of the time so my K/D suffers a bit. I don't have the patience with SnD, I have only ever won 2 games of CTF and I have never went positive on Demolition. HQ is a camp fest and Sabotage can be a camp fest aswell. If there were no nuke boosters I would play FFA all the time, it suits my style of play best
 
Wooo, just been playing some SnD and am now 7th Prestige.

I've lost the ability to sleep during weekends, I've got at least 4 hours before I nod off. Does anybody have any good tactics for SnD, I would play it so much more if I had some solid tactics, killing people isn't a problem, it's finding them before they find me

A tip if you want to get really high XP really quick without boosting. Needs a full team of guys for it to work but it looks as if it does work

if someone is around you, circle the spot where they are, be the patient person mate, impatient people suck at SnD, thats my best game type, went 22-1 today in it, i only died because my care package killed me, also use sleight of hand, stopping power, and ninja pro on snipers, for SMG's use marathon instead of sleight of hand, if silencing a weapon, use a silenced side arm, i recommend the FAMAS, UMP45, P90 and ACR for search and destroy, i sometimes use the SCAR, i avoid sniping as i usually get found by some guy using lightweight, for smaller more enclosed maps like karachi, use an SMG, for open maps use a silenced assault rifle, i recommend the ACR, TAR or SCAR silenced, an open map is wasteland for example, for a map like invasion where its spread out a little but not really enclosed like karachi, use a non silenced assault rifle, i never use cold blooded and never shoot stuff down as its a waste of a class, avoid one man army as changing class takes quite a while,

Cold-Blooded is a good choice for S&D.

As for never shooting air-support down... you are exactly the kind of player who I would hate on my team.
 
shooting air support down is a waste of time, usually leave it to one of my friends who isnt so good at the game to do it, i just stay inside,
 
I used to be a person who would shoot down at least 5 air support a match but I have now learned that they can't kill you if they cant see you. So anytime a Pave Low, AC130 or Chopper Gunner hits the sky, I find a building with adequate cover and camp until it goes away. Everybody else however just runs around like a headless chicken and gets pwnd by it. No wonder on maps like Skidrow, air support is pretty inefficient

It isn't a waste of time. It gives you additional exp and it's an extremely helpful thing to do for your team, rather than just kill-whoring.

If you get the air-support out of the air almost instantly, then you have a much higher chance of winning. Those 'headless chickens' out there might not be affecting the amount of times you die, but their deaths contribute to you losing the match.
 
honestly i dont care about winning, my win loss ratio is 1.45 or something, thats something i dont worry about, i killwhore because i find it fun, i play the game primarily for fun, not to win, and i dont play team death, its soooo boring
 
I quite enjoy TDE, but it does get repetitive. I play it mainly because it's what I am best at.

Fair enough if you don't care about winning. I didn't until recently, but now I like to win since I play with friends a lot more than I used to.

Since you kill-*****, mind if I ask what your K/D is?

Unfortunately my brother's is 4.78 at the moment. :S

I've only got 15k kills though, as I stopped playing for a long time. Slowly easing back into it, and actually increased my K/D recently after making it drop since I was out of practice.

I want to get 10th prestige, but I just don't play often enough to get there. :( What rank are you guys at?
 
Rank 30 after prestiging for the first time on Tuesday. Been fiddling around with different setups with shotguns and the one that I found worked best was the SPAS-12 with Marathon, Cold-Blooded and Ninja all pro. Don't have this setup since I prestiged but it is the best setup I have found, especially on maps where it is easy to sneak into the enemy spawn
