I'm playing with AFC Telford in the BSN first season, around about December time and I'm top of the table with all wins and one draw. Morale in the squad is nearly suerb throughout, except for my striker Martin Reilly, who is consistently Poor. He's been playing every game for me (when fit) and scored 8 goals in 19 games, which isn't so bad. I'm stumped to explain his morale issues though...anyone got any suggestions?

give him a few games rest it could just be because he is fatigued

before the match say "no pressure" relaxes the player (if they take notice of you) and morale will increase at the end of the game :) worked for me with Darren bent had a similar problem

Keep praising him after the matches, even if it was only an average performance.

Abuse the Private Chat feature. If he is playing well, praise him. If he isn't (below a 6.5 rating is a fair marker) then criticise him. If he doesn't like it, stamp your authority. If he won't listen then he has a poor personality and may not fit into your squad
