In all fairness, I always evaluate my defenders first and foremost. Particularly LB/RB's. If you can secure a decent young left or right back, he can/will be you first choice for that position for years. Failing that, DC or GK's are a must. Particularly a tall DC who can nick a few in from corners and free kicks.
