Also, looked it up on Google and found this:

It seems to me that the memory for your graphics card is not enough to play the game .64MB is quite small for that sort of game. If you check the mininum requirements for your game .

So it may be that your graphics card is not sufficient to play FM smoothly.

If it occurs during 3d mode, I suggest changing your setting to commentary only or 2d mode which is what I used due to my computer not be being good enough for 3d.

Is there a way of creating more space
eg: would deleting other things work?

Your settings may be too advanced for your computer mate. Sometimes it's little things like if you're use a made skin that you've put on yourself, or an edited database, that could knock it off track a little.

No mate. Your graphics card isn't good enough for the 3d match engine - your only choice is to upgrade it or live with it. You can turn things off though and see if it helps - go into the graphics options and turn off stuff like stadium and weather. See if that makes any difference, but I'll bet that you'll still have problems every now and again. 2d would be the way to go for you.

I rarely use 3D mode, but it happens all the time, before, during and after the matches.

I have a skin that I downloaded from here, and I have only played FM a handful of time so I haven't got round to editing the database, thanks for the comments.

How can I upgrade it?

Your graphics card is probably integrated - which means that it runs on the memory which 'powers' your whole system.

So you might want to turn off background stuff (this programme is useful: http://www.iobit.com/gamebooster.html) to free up more memory to see if it helps.

Also check that you're totally up to date with stuff like drivers for your laptap.

edit: ignore the upgrade comment, just read your other post in the help topic - near impossible/very expensive to upgrade a laptop's graphics card :)

Where can I find this info?
Sorry if I sound stupid, I'm not great with computers

Go to the Dell website (you said that it's a Dell in other thread) and go to their downloads section. Choose your laptop model and see if there's any newer drivers for your PC (if you've never done this before, chances are that if the date of the drivers there are more recent than when you bought laptop, you need to download the new driver).

Another thing to do is to make sure that your Windows is up to date by going to Microsoft Update site.

I downloaded that program, I guess that you are supposed to defrag the files?
I clicked FM10 and it said no fragmented files, what should I do now?

Turn on game mode, load up FM and see if it helps. (Also turn off your web browser when playing - you want as little as possible running in the background while you play). :)

The windows updates are running, I'll do the dell updates later, thanks for your time.
I hope it gets better :)
