Move into channels

I was just wondering what this does, i understand the others like cut inside and hug the line, but what does it mean by channels? and who/what position should i tell to do this?

i understand this may of been asked but i searched and could not find, but sorry in advance if there is already a thread! =)

It means they will try and move into the gap between the Fullbacks and the Sideline and the gap between the Fullback and the Central defender to try and get themselves into space.
