Euro cup group stage
i was drawn with dutch outfit Nac Breda , turkish big guns Fenerbache amd finally norweigian side Rosenborg.
Overall im happy with the group it could have been much harder and i expect to qualify and will also give my second string some games to gain games.

September Update ........
League Sunderland v Everton 1-1 Cahill
So the season got off to a decent start and i was pleased with how well we moved the ball our passing was inch perfect and Cahill scoring a great goal from the edge of the box on the volley , on the negative side we missed a few good chances but overall a decent result away from home.
Euro cup qualifier 1st leg Everton v EN Avant De Guingamp 1-0 osman
This was the qualifier for the groupstage a decent result with osman getting on the scoresheet but it set up a nervy second leg , again we dominated posession just failed to convert good chances , I gave the promising Jack Rodwell a start in this game as well and I was particularlly impressed with him he pulled all the strings in midfield , certainly one for the future.
League Chelsea v Everton 1-0
Well not many teams go to Stamford Bridge and come away with anything and we didnt ..... but we tried our best and fought untill the final wistle , Didier Drogba grabbed himself a goal in the 40th minute to break toffes hearts , now to the performance we defended well but chelsea's attacking brilliance just proved too much for us.
Euro cup 2nd leg EN Avant De Guingamp v Everton 1-2 Yakubu Shawcross
An overall good performance despite the sloppy goal we conceeded early on in the fifth minute , Yakubu scored to equalize and Shawcross headed home to win us the game his first goal for the club , I was happy with the tackling and mature play we displayed we did what we had to do.
League Everton v Tottenham 1-0 Shawcross
One of our rivals for the european places so i wanted us to show a signal of intent and we did , it was a close game end to end stuff we had to defend with our lives at times , but i am delighted that we managed to grind out the victory with another goal from Shawcross thats now 2 in 2 for him he has proved a great signing thus far ....
League Everton v Wolves 0-0
A poor game really very scrappy wolves battled hard and we didnt simple as that I will be expecting better performances throughout the season theres not really much more to say about this game as it was really boring ......
League Everton v Portsmouth 2-0 Yakubu Jagielka
Well I wanted a response from the wolves game and we got one the scoreline could of been much more , we dominated posession played free-flowing football and really pummeled their defense, another great game from Rodwell getting a great assist for Yakubu with an inch perfect pass this boy is really something Jagielka rounded of the scoring with a header from a set piece taken from none other than Mikel Arteta , very happy with the performance and the scoreline.

Well Fenerbache provided tougher opposition than I first thought they was really good on the ball just lacked a cutting edge like ourselves we was good on the ball it was just one of them nights that lady luck just wasnt on our side and I hope we can make ammends with our future performances in the Euro Cup.

A decent performance from the lads overall im pleased with the result because this is a competition i expect to be doing well in a good game we dominated from start to end and a good outing for our youngsters.
League Everton v Blackburn 2-2 Yakubu (2)
This was a hard fought point Blackburn were really good on the ball and defensivley , we went 1 nill up through a Yakubu goal but then Bret Emerton equalized and then disaster struck when croation striker Nicola Kalinic put the Rovers 2-1 up but Yakubu finished off his brace with a strike on the stroke of half time.
player of the month = Ryan Shawcross A great performance from him he has been a great signing so far been a rock at the back alongside Jagielka also chipping in with the odd goal what more can i ask.

October Update .....
Euro Cup Group Stage Everton v NAC Breda 2-0 Saha Cahill
A good solid win with 2 goals scored and 0 conceded an easy game really i was pleased with our sturdy defense ot seems to be working as I am not conceding many goals , I was pleased that australian midfield playmaker Tim Cahill got on the scoreline as well as Louis Saha its really important our strikers get goals this season as i have took a risk in playing 1 upfront , bit at the moment it seems to be working.
League Man City v Everton 1-2 Yakubu (2)
Again one of our main rivals for our European spot but this time their money didnt pay off (haha). But yes a good solid win and I am delighted at how well Yakubu making the target man role his own mainly due to his great physical attributes , I expect big things from him this season as he is my first choice striker , they dominated posession as I expected but we converted our chances.

Well I thought this game was going to be another where lady luck wasnt on our side but we battled hard all through the first half and nothing came of our hard work. So I decided to go overload and nick a goal and we did on the 60th minute when Yakubu grabbed us the lead with a great finish in the area I am delighted with his form thus far thats 2 in 2.

Up next was Norwegian side who battled hard right up untill the 90th minute but our quality proved too much for them we dominated posession and the better chances came our way , overall a good performance with Saha grabbing a goal early on when his pace proved difficult to deal with then Cahill rounded off the scoring early on in the 1st half.
League Stoke v Everon 1-1 Cahill
Stoke proved difficult to defend against as they have strength and height in abundance as this showed they played the long ball and made the game ugly but fair play to them they got the result they scored from a set-piece and cahill scored late on with a volley poor result really but its better than a defeat.
League Cup 4th round Sunderland v Everton 3-2 Pienaar Saha
Looks like Sunderland are gonna be our bogy team this season as we just cannot beat them !!!. they was far better on the ball than us and converted their chances and therefore deserved the victory.
player of the month = Yakubu
He has been in sensational form this season scoring 13 goals in 9 games , a great start from the big man he has also grabbed him self an assist and picked up 3 man of the matches awards.

League Everton v West ham 4-0 Yakubu (4)
Sensatinol Yakubu steals the show yet again he has been simply brilliant I didnt expect this kind of form from him he has been class, we played really well and played good pass and move football and our positional play was excellent at times , Tim Howard could have fallen asleep in goal with west ham barely testing our stopper good all round performance and will do the goal difference good.

good solid win away from home Rosenborg do have a decent team with star player Anthony Annan , we played simple football and got the job done.
League Fulham v Everton 0-2 Pienaar Arteta
A good win we dominated posession which our sublime passing at times was a joy to watch Fellaini had a good game with a disciplined approach playing as an anchor man reall protected our back four , i was suprised other players than Yakubu got on the scoresheet haha pienaar been very good this season really nailing down his first team spot over leon osman , and Arteta is brilliant of course the Fabregas of everton.

Well we started brightly with Yakubu scoring on the 2nd minute again on the 28th and again on the 43rd 3 goals inside the first half we walked it our midfield battled hard making great chances for the strikers and Fellaini rounded of the scoring on the 55th minute , good performance from the boys.
