Hello, I'm not one for uploading tactics normally, but I think this might be of benefit to some people. I should say that there's no guarantee that it will bring success, but it's been excellent for me. Last season we conceded 2 goals at home in the league. My GK had 23 clean sheets in 38 league games last season. I had 4 players with 20 goals or more and several players with around 10 goals.

In the last two seasons that I've used this tactic, I've finished with a goal difference of +69 and +75, points totals of 97 and 96 points and been the top goalscorers in the league both seasons by about 20 goals.

We've won two Premier League titles on the trot, The Champions League, The FA Cup, World Club Cup and a Community Shield. I only implemented the tactic in it's current form towards the back end of the 2015/16 season where we made the CL final, only to lose to Barca.

We've had the odd duff game where we beat someone really good then lose to someone like Reading, but that's part and parcel of football really.

I've used very few PI and rely on the ability of the player. The right back has "Make fewer risky passes" but this was more to do with the right back I had at the time no being creative enough nor having the passing ability. Turn this off/on for either of your full backs if you feel the need.

The DM has more risky passes, if you have someone who can pass the ball very well, leave it on.

The striker is a role that can be played around with, I really like the CF/S role as he comes deep to help create attacks. I suspect a F9 or a DLF may work here also.

Be prepared to pick up a few bookings as your players may assert themselves on the opposition.

If you're finding it difficult to break a team down, I try switching to play wider and exploit the middle. If teams are sitting deep, turn off the push higher up as teams should come out a bit more and you can get in behind their more advanced defence.

Opposition Instructions
None, I don't use them. If you find a player is harassing you, you can use your own intuition and close him down or mark him tighter, I rarely do this though.

I look for players who are composed, have good decision making and work for the team. In defensive minded players, I like anticipation and composure. In attack minded players I like them to be able to dribble, move off the ball, have pace and finishing ability. I've provided screens of my player comparisons in the league.

If you find yourself conceding a lot of set piece goals, switch defensive positioning to defending set pieces for a few games to tighten up.

I've never ever had a player come to me and say they're unhappy with their training workload, so don't be scared to put them on a Heavy individual training program. It really helps the players develop I think.

Just as a note, my central defenders train as Ball Playing Defenders and my central midfield attack trains as an attacking midfielder.

Again I'll reiterate that this isn't plug and play (I haven't tested it anyway) so you'll need good players to get this to work I suspect. I'd like to hear back from people if they try it with a lower league team.

Enjoy :)
