My approach ?

I keep on getting critised by other managers saying that if my players took the opporunity to shoot the ball rather then try to walk the ball into the back of the net they might be better of.

Is it because I always put in instructions, - work ball into box?>
Should I change it to pump or what?
Most of my long range efforts have been scored by darren fletcher, the rest no one has scored from outside the box.
Im managing united.

don't worry about it. Some managers will critisize you nomatter how you play or what the result of the game was.
I've had managers complaining about the same thing you are,after I beat them 5-0.
So it doesn't always make sense.

They only say that after they have lost to you to get retribution. If its working for you then carry on using it if it's failing then don't use it.

It just means you play a nice passing game, and the other manager is jealous.

I won 5-0 against lecister in the cup ,and steve erikson complained this time ._.

My backup players just pumped 5 past celtic and i got criticised for not scoring enough ... Logic error on SI's part!
