Hi Callamity, i have a few questions if you get a minute to respond...

1. Are there any good PPM's that you have realized work well with the tactic?

2. Did you ever get Ben Arfa to fit into the tactic?! Hes just not doing it for me at the moment but isn't natural in any of the positions.

3. I know you are a busy man but do you think you will get the player filters done anytime soon?

4. Still loving this tactic; are you planning on uploading any others/different formations?

Thanks for the hard work!

Hey mate i'm using liverpool and i don't understand the match preparation part. Could you please explain it to me what i should focus on? At the moment its on tactics

Match prep set it to defensive positioning, and move the slider to 30% when you are about to play your first competitive game.

Hey mate,

1, I'll be honest I dont look at these at all xD I know I should and I know how much they can benefit a team. I'm soooweeeee I cant say much about these :(

2. Ben Arfa once trained became a fantastic right winger for me, but was never really as effective as marveaux was on the other side, maybe his left foot on the right wing and cutting inside was the issue.

3. I was hoping to have the player filters ready within a week of releasing the tactic, but unfortunately been too busy, I only have 2 weeks left of UNI before christmas though so will be back at it propperly.

4. I'm not planning to upload any yet with big OP's etc however I am in the middle of a porto2004 tactic which is very early testing phases atm and is in this thread :D http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/football-manager-2014-tactics/149386-mourinho-chelsea.html once I am happy with the Porto I will look into the Chelsea one from here. :)

hope this helps mate and thanks for the support :D

First season as Norwich, finished second - signed Tom Ince and Alex Pearce, the latter forming a backup CB.

Manchester United
P38 W25 D9 L4 GF74 GA21 GD+53 PTS84
Norwich P38 W23 D10 L5 GF57 GA17 GD+40 PTS79
Chelsea P38 W23 D8 L7 GF73 GA37 GD+36 PTS77

Head-to-Head

Norwich 1 - 1 Manchester United
Manchester United 0 - 2 Norwich

Chelsea 1 - 1 Norwich
Norwich 2 - 0 Chelsea

Arsenal 1 - 2 Norwich
Norwich 3 - 0 Arsenal

Manchester City 1 - 0 Norwich
Norwich 3 - 1 Manchester City

Liverpool 1 - 1 Norwich
Norwich 3 - 0 Liverpool

Around the midway mark, I switched match prep to 'Attacking Movement', found myself dumped out of the FA Cup in the 3rd Round away at Bournemouth, switched back to 'Defensive Positioning' and in the remaining 18 PL games, conceded just 6 goals and won all but 5 games (3D, 2L).

My best performers in the BPL were Leroy Fer at CMA (33 apps, 9 goals, 9 assists), Nathan Redmond at MR (37 apps, 5 goals, 12 assists) and Johan Elmander at ST (19 apps, 8 goals, 2 assists). Apparent lack of goals was never a major concern, particularly when the defense was so solid (unlocked the 'Iron Curtain' achievement), F9 was a bit disappointing, but lost count of the amount of times they'd rattle a shot off the woodwork.

Excellent tactic.

Switching to attacking movement training is doing wonders for me. Hartlepool second season, top of League One. Will post a screen shot when the season ends.

Edit: Set to counter attacking as well.

Massive fan of the 4-1-4-1 on FM14 and been using it since i started my career mode with the mighty Southend United

Currently 6 games since i started the tactic
Currently 6 games unbeaten
4 Wins and 2 Draws
Both draws i was winning until they equalised in injury time!!

Quality work mate, keep it up

well a whole season with your new tactic and the latter half with w4nkers new corner tactic. Scored loads of goals from midfield as shown in the screenshots and from corners too. Team isn't even that good but to the premier league I go! So your old tactic took me to the championship (in 3 seasons) and your new one got me to the premier league (in 1 season) can't have better praise than that.

- feel free to use the screenshots on your front page.

Same in my save....had problems with creating chances and scoring...I switched everything on attacking or attacking set pieces....I am back in bussines.

Tried to edit last post but would not let me find cursor under screenshot.

Anyway, crazily good tactic, the only thing that can beat me is the cheating AI.

Well done mate!

Sick stuff man. Margin would have been wider if I had plug in the tactic from the start of the season.

Some fantastic results guys really well done all of you, and thank you all for kind words :D

Is OI important for this to work

They set the team up to defend against the oppositions strengths on an opponent by opponent basis, so yes they are important, not just to make this work but to defend against various situations.

Once the tactic is working do you set the training to attacking movement for the rest of the season?

I never change from defensive positioning personally, however if the tactic goes stale due to the defensive set up of the opposition then attacking movement will give the team the boost it needs to break them down

I'm playing with anderlecht and after the arrigo sacchi 442 tactic didn't work anymore i used your tactic. And it started working amazing from the beginning. First used defensive positioning, but now attacking movement. I score a lot and don't give much away. THX

Did the same with anderlecht and it works much better. I just use attacking movement because i allready score enough from set pieces.
