My best tactic for FM14

I have a dramatic overhaul of the tactic i will be testing today also.
 
Hello calamity, spent a couple of hours doing some good filters for this tactic and im trying to upload it via media fire, do youu know how to do this?
 
I just finished my season using this tactic (the 14.1.4 with my own small tweaks mentioned earlier) with Rayo Vallecano and won the treble!

I was able to win the league in my 2nd season with a relegation candidate like Rayo Vallecano

In my first season I finished 7th in the league and so i qualified for the Europa Cup. By wins over Zenit, AS Monaco, Sporting Portugal and Athletic Bilbao I came in the final against CSKA Moscow which i beated with 3-1.


With some luck I was also able to beat Barcelona in the League final.

I dont want to release it too soon, having put out the last update after a couple successful tests, it did not prove to be as successful as it should have been. So I am doing further testing this time, and also am not happy with the number of shots there is too many in comparison to chances

Added tactic which should be stable on 14.2. Match prep updated. PPM's added etc.
 
For now this tactic is working like a charm, altough its my 1st game with it i'm up 5-0 at half time, all goals from great crosses from my outside players ! nice attacking flow also ^^ i'll keep u updated after a few games!
 
Still not working for me I'm afraid.

Such a shame that they had to release a patch that broke the game so badly, your tactics up until 14.2 were spot on and brought me so much enjoyment.

thats a shame, which team are you? have you followed the new instructions I posted in OP. is the tactic fully fluid?

What issues are you having in games?

I'm playing as Mansfield Town in League 1, tactic is fluid although I didn't start using it until the last 3rd of the season, but I've floundered from mid-table to just above the relegation zone.

Struggling to score any goals at all, my striker misses chance after chance and conceding goals for fun at the moment too, quite a few from set pieces even though my match prep is set to Defend Set Pieces.

are you doing anything at all in terms of man management about the striker missing so many chances? It might also be that your players are not suited to the tactic, which can happen with some teams.

in terms of defending set pieces, im not sure what to say, i conceded very little goals at all from them with this set up. do you have players who are able in the air?
 
I've had a 'private chat' with the striker telling him I still believe in him, still hasn't scored for about 10 hours now.

Tbf, all my players are are of a fairly poor standard, however with the previous tactics I found that by keeping morale high I could shoot my way up all the leagues season after season, not this time I'm afraid, the latest patch has killed me and my enjoyment of the game.
 
is it safe to update now ? ive got 3 games left in my current season

I felt the same way prior to this build of the tactic mate. what you can do in lower leagues is take off shorter passing, and change the striker role to something that will spear head attacks more like a complete forward. This way you will be playing more direct and hopefully score more goals,, relying less on technically gifted players when you dont really have any world beaters xD
