My best tactic for FM14

OK, I finished my season, I am quite pleased with a first attempt at it considering this was one season plagued with more injuries than WW2.
The league

4th place finish with the basic newcastle squad plus diame from west ham so really isnt anything special, CM here was incredibly weak in my opinion.


some results against couple big teams, and the derby

some decent results against the big teams,

corners attacking and defending were lacking alot so if anyone has settings for these that work, please dont hesitate to point me in the direction.

This is an initial draft of the tactic for 14.3 so it is not perfect yet

I am going to work shortly, If any one who tests this and gets poor results please do not come on and say tactic doesnt work, next or any of that BS. Look for patterns of where goals are being leaked, or where play is being broken down so that improvements can be made. Thanks
 
I have tweaked the tactic a little, and have added jassars set plays. I think the tactic is pretty much a finished article now if anyone wants to test this version now I will put attach it here.

im adding this one as 10 men for most of the match against bayern to get a point with newcastle is a result

I would have expected to get hammered following the sending off.

going 2 test it tonight. had uge succes with orrigional in begin with 14!

2 questions, match prep same as orrigional? and what abouth team talk?

I use Newcastle in my tests as they have an average team, and a very thin squad which happens to fit alot of different shapes and tactics, the lack of a Cabaye type player since the update also emphasises this, they are underdogs in all of the examples I have shown.

Thanks for testing it mate, as you noted having a squad to fit the tactic is the only way to make it work :) although using a terrible underdog is going to give results a terrible underdog should expect. :) I'm about to run a quick test with cardiff I think. dunno what they are like. lol

Match prep same as original yes mate, and team talks are dependant on who you are playing and how the game is going, the team talk guide by Raikan which is linked in the OP will be able to help you with them.
 
I reckon I'll give it a go with west ham and report back. cause they have a couple of no hope donkeys up top. decent wingers in Jarvis and downing and a solid ish spine with Nolan Collins and that heap a **** up top...

Hi mate, this is not a tactic "test" thread.
This is the thread specifically for the tactic I created and any links to other threads or tactics are from people who have helped or given permission to link to their threads. If you want your tactic tested and to gain more attention you will have to test and place results and info in your own thread.
