Amazing tactic callamity!
I finished my first season with Everton.
Ended first place, with 63 goals scored and only 18!!! goals conceded throughout the whole season.

Both of these issues are determined by your team, in terms of how good it is, how technical it is, if you are odds on to win etc.
I've lost 7 of 8 league games playing like this... with Newcastle, with almost identical players to you. It looks like a great tactic I just can't see why it isn't working for me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just wanted to say what a fantastic tactic this is. Won the league with Liverpool second season by 24 points with a +71 goal difference. Finished 3rd first season after plugging in in January and won the FA cup. Lost in the semi finals of the Champs League to Barca on away goals. Heartbreak. Created 6 CC's to their 0 over the two legs but hey that's football. To all those struggling just stick with it and manage using logic. Praise when doing well, be aggressive when not. when expecting to win go Att Movement when not go Defensive Positioning. Do the press conferences and again use logic. Couldn't be happier and congratulations.
can you please post some of those matches stats, team selection etc?

i know it pales in comparison but im playing as dundee united now and sitting 16 points clear of 3rd behind celtic in february of the first season lol

they're not bad, lost goodwillie who was top scorer, now gauld is my top scorer playing him mostly as a rw but he's not accomplished yet, the team is decent and young so its a nice base to build on and challenge old firm

how are you approaching team talks?
from what I can see your team selection isnt the problem, however you could do with substituting players who are performing badly. The 5.* ratings are just not good enough. are you disciplining these players? is your team morale good or better?

Hey, I started to try your tactic with Hellas Verona, supposed to come 18th, so far so good. I'm just wondering, do you reckon the tactic would work in a 4-3-3 setup? As in moving the wingers to the AM position. Will update my results soon.
