Hey, I started to try your tactic with Hellas Verona, supposed to come 18th, so far so good. I'm just wondering, do you reckon the tactic would work in a 4-3-3 setup? As in moving the wingers to the AM position. Will update my results soon.

I have the wingers where they are as this gives them space to run into, having them in the AM position left them with their backs to goal and passing the ball backwards instead of getting the ball to the box, I felt this was a waste of the wingers.
this doesnt mean you shouldnt try it if you want to, however I cannot guarantee the consistency of results when the tactic is altered

Just out of curiosity, would you be able to make this into a 4-4-2 for home games, and then use the current formation for away games.Only asking because its how York play at the moment.

Just finished my 5 th season with Guiseley. I just plowed through Sky League 1 and im about to play in the Championsship :)

1 season. won Skrill Sky League North
2 season 3 th place playoff/promoted from Skrill League
3 season ended midleague in Sky League 2
4 season won Sky League 2
5 Season Demolished all opponents and won Sky League 1

only bought players who where out of contract, since the club is very poor lol.. Love this tactic :)

couldnt be sure if it will work, but to do this I would take out the anchor man and use an advanced forward to link up with the false 9

What match preperation did you use?

Not doing well on Aston Villa return to the Premier League, don't know what I am doing wrong....

Check team morale, have you made alot of transfers?
Also look at the team talks guide by Raikan, linked in OP this will help get the right results.

how are you approaching team talks?

from what I can see your team selection isnt the problem, however you could do with substituting players who are performing badly. The 5.* ratings are just not good enough. are you disciplining these players? is your team morale good or better?

Hi Callamity, thanks for the reply. My team talks are done by the assistant manager and are generally met with a good response. I'm not disciplining the 5.* rated players and will begin to do so, and my team morale is Okay at lowest but generally good after a few team meetings.

Cheers

This kind of start is unusual then mate, your doing everything right, and disciplining players will improve on that.
stick with it hopefully things improve.

i'm about to upload a better set up of the corner bug tactic, from which I scored 26 goals from corners in the BPL from feb till season end. This might help a wee bit

This tactic has made Torres fire, lol. And he's scoring magnificent goals, not just tap-ins. 3 goals in 3 apps is not bad, lost because of woeful defending by Cahill (his rating was 5.1) and a bad performance by Oscar. City away is a difficult fixture and we held em pretty well, Dzeko who was invisible the whole game popped up to score the winner (Cahill didn't mark him) . The second goal by Milner was absolute bizarre.
