My best tactic for FM14

Hey man, loving the tactic! Will update with SSs when I've done a season.

Just wondering how you managed to turn Adam Campbell into such a beast? was it just heavy training to be complete forward until he was 20 then training for false nine and giving him lots of first team opportunities? Any tips for getting the best out of him?

I tutored him with damaio, heavy training as complete forward yeah. I change to speciality roles like false 9at about 22
 
new patch - Callamity, i hope that urs tactic will be only better with it, if not i hope that u can make ur tactic to be the best again, this time for 14.2 :). anyone tested tactic with new patch yet?

Ah finally a new patch, I had stopped using this tactic as the game was too easy lol, I will be thoroughly testing and will try get the best I can do out the next few days.
I don't think much will change as the tactic was never created to exploit the ME, it was created under basic football processes such as stretching the opposition to create space, making the best use of possession and winning the ball back quickly.
 
So after patch, tactical familiarity goes down tonnes for no apparent reason...
in february of a save, full familiarity before patch, after patch load up game hit continue and closing down, marking and passing are all awkward

As some of you might have known from my previous post, decided to take Internazionale back to European glory and so far it's been fairly successful. Top of the Serie A with a point clear above Milan and Juventus. Got dumped out of the Italian Cup by Milan.


It might sound that we're really banging them in but unfortunately, all my strikers, Palacio/Icardi/Belfodil all had a disappointing 2 goals shares amongst them. My goals mostly came from corners and free kicks. Overall, we're not playing the best of football though I won't put the blame down to the tactic as I had a go with creating and watching full games to figure out the match engine and I've to the conclusion that it still has some really annoying bugs that needs fixing.


In most games, there would rarely be a highlight and if there was, it would always be a corner or free kick or a play leading up to them. Open play goals are a rarity and to be honest, I don't see much enjoyment in it.


It's really frustrating and I'm going back to FM13 and will wait on the latest patch.

use some editor to fix it, if it's possible. it won't be any cheating if u had it on max and now u don't :).

the 1 your thinking of is the real time editor that you can buy from steam
 
I've read that the goalkeeper is really week against near post,

I don't think the tactic is broken, I've won everyone of my games since patch, this includes the familiarity **** up mentioned before
 
been using your tatic for Newcastle won top division 3 imes so I thought I start with a little team this is my 1st season with it it shows how many goals I av scored and were iam at thanks
 
I' playing as a lower league Spanish side and we seem to be having lots of attempts on goal but few of them are actually on-target (17 shots - 6 on target etc).

This is most likely down to my players having poor 'Long Shot' attributes.

What's the best way to try and sort this? Maybe change some of the player instructions to 'Shoot Less Often'?
 
Going to give this a try, just two questions tough, why do you put the tactic in the 3 spots and what's the best option, OI's or no OI's?

I recently created a career with all Barclays premier league teams being controlled by made up ufc fighters / managers and your tactic was the best it had the best attack and defence, also leading goal scorer ( robin van persie ) .

i will continue testing untill end of season :)
