I put the tactic in the 3 spots as it seems to get it to fully fluid faster.
the use of OI's is completely personal choice, I tested with and without and both produced similar results. I prefer to use them as I feel it sets me up defensively for each individual player throughout the season.
OP updated, slight edit of tactic was trying pre patch but works just as well post patch so decided to release it. I was running away with the spanish league using real socieaded pre patch and had qualified from a very hard group in the champions league. Post Patch the dreaded fix to tactical familiarity calculations plus some tinkering made me drop more points than usual, and i dropped to 2nd in league behind barcalona who won by 3 points

Dear Callamity, I think there's a problem with the MC's filter: in the selected options, besides the normal values there are two a bit strange:
- Contract expiring in 6 months
- Nationality: South Africa
- Contract expiring in 6 months
- Nationality: South Africa

Trying a slight tweak of this for 14.2. Added a long throw set up from jassars thread. Removed 'retain possession' (players seemed to be passing just for the sake of it) and added 'shoot less often' to the F9 (mine was hitting about 10 long shots a games on 14.2). He got 7 goals in last 4 games including all 3 against Utd.
Used end of season on long term save and overturned a 6 point deficit to beat Man Utd to the title. Liverpool game both goals conceded from corners. Corners can definitely be improved both scoring and conceding.

out of curiousity which team are you playing as?
I was considering dropping the retain possession shout and adding work ball into box as been having the same issue, but I have just started a nice 5k word essay that is due in at 12 tomorrow
so havent had the chance to try it. but if your tweaks works even better I was scoring every game from a knock down off a corner aswell, however was conceding to the exact same issue every game, I also conceded alot of free kick crosses where my team were statues and one opposing runner would get a free shot from about 5 yards

like i said, i made it for myself, but u can freely change it guys, just delete those two values

W4NKER - this updated tactic of Callamity's - i load tactic in my save, and all of my players, except GK, don't have ANY option checked in player instructions? i think it's some **** happend? because i don't think so that u deleted all of them?

The original 14.2 update from Callamity I have downloaded only had setting for GK and wingers (cross to far post). This is correct, only goal keeper had instructions, in w4nkers tweak the false 9 should have instructio. To make him take less long shots.
Bit of extra food for thought in build up to patch . Was playing a save with Southampton and used no team or player instructions, I sat top of the league all season not looking any games.
Surprised by that I did not give wingers player instructions lol
That's not bad then, I usually test with Newcastle, decent first team so I can watch where things are going wrong instead of poor players making mistakes

Re: no team instructions. I have seen tactics on other forums do exceptionally well with no instructions whatsoever. Just a basic formation with individual role to suit their players. Seems the simpler the better with FM14

and one more question, after all those updates u made W4NKER and Callamity, is it MCL supposed to be now attacking and MCR support? and ML Support MR Attacking? because in original version it looks different for sure, am asking because i read that after new patch a lot of things with tactic can be messed up. i want to be sure that everything with tactic is ok before i start World Cup with my Chile.
