Only just got through my friendly schedule but your set pieces are ridiculous. Must admit that I was playing much smaller reputation teams to boost morale, but in one game I scored 6 goals from set pieces, in the first half O.o

Pace is key for the striker if you want him to score goals. Timo werner has 9 in 9 for me so far.

Hmm it was going well, but now i have lost 5 games in a row in the bundesliga without scoring a single goal....

I really don't understand what has happened really. Had a couple of insanely unfortunate defeats. Lost to a direct out swinging corner (!), seriously it was like the roberto carlos free kick... but a corner haha. And then lost to a clearance from their half that bounced over my keepers head :/

sounds like the ME playing funnybuddy's nothing u can do about that xD

I used this tactic in my first season with Valencia.
I ended on a 3rd place behind (do i even have to say this) Real and Barca. Also lost the final of the Copa del Rey against Barca.
But afterall I won the Europa League :)

With my squad it's pretty good :) (didn't buy much, because of almost not having tb)
It' a pretty decent tactic imo, but like others mentioned, the striker is not really scoring :)

This is a wonderfull tactic.. but it seems like after a couple of seasons, it isnt that good no longer.. in my 4th and 5th season with Everton, this tactic seems to work very good against good opponents, like Chelsea, Arsenal and so on.. but I struggle against lower teams like Palace, Norwich and so on..

Anyone else got it like this?

Loving this tactic. Had a blip midway through the season, but been on a great run since then. I'm playing as Stuttgart and i have stormed to 2nd in the league, but quite nicely I'm the top scoring team in the league by quite a distance. Werner is scoring goals for fun.

downloaded your newest tweaked (is it that what the kids call it these days?;) ) tactic.. the one I played with was 1mth old or someting.. now it works perfect again!

Finished 2nd in the table with Stuttgart in the end, and won the German Cup, beating Bayern 3-0 in the final. Timo Werner just missed out on being Budesliga top scorer finishing 1 goal behind Lewandowski, at the age of 17 :)

Did you make any tweaks to the tactic ?

Smooth tactic

A nice smooth tactic you have created. plug it in and enjoy rather than the tactics which demands tweaking or twerking and has an ridiculous formation without strikers. thanks for sharing this great tactic.

Has anyone tried the formation but with the wingers pushed up further to make a 4-1-2-2-1? I'm thinking of trying it with 2 IFs as goals are still hard to come by compared to the tight defence.

I always keep the most clean sheets in the league but have too many 0-0 draws, particularly at home. Has anyone tried it with 3 forwards instead of the one?

I'm also not experiencing any issues with my strikers scoring goals.

I normally alternate between two strikers and they average on around 15 goals in 23 games each which is a decent return.

Edit: I don't use the PPM's from the OP for my strikers though. I use 'plays one-twos regularly', but also 'looks to break offside trap' and 'runs channels'.

I find if you have either footed wingers on both wings then they score as they can get inside and put crosses in.

Best advice would be to buy Timo Werner and just play him straight away from the start of the game. I put him on advanced playmaker training at the start to bring his passing and creativity up. His acceleration, finishing, composure, and technique ae already pretty good even at the start when he is 17. The screenshots you can find of him online don't do him justice. I've played 2 seasons with him and he is 18 years old now, but his finishing is 16, acceleration 18, composure 15, technique 15.
