I would like to purchase Fabio Cannavaro, as my central defense is lacking. He is well within my price range (he's worth about 200,000 and I have 5 million), but my club will never give me enough money per week to pay for him, and he cites the per week rate as the reason why he denies my contract requests. Is there any way to work around this?

Yeah, adjust your budget and if you dont know how to then this is how :
Go to your team name etc Ipswich if your managing them.. and press board room then you will see adjust budget
