Hey all, after the recent end of my Vauxhall Motors save and therefore, the end of the thread too, I decided to start another career - as a journeyman, hoping to pay his dues in the obscure lower leagues before progressing up the managerial ladder to Champions League glory. I was unsure who to go however, but I remembered Kris' Hong Kong net game idea and my mate had once managed Mahindra United ( sp ) of India, so I thought I would manage in absurd nations I have never managed in and no knowledge or experience of them. So, with my reputation set to 'Automatic', I loaded up all additional players from Reunion, Brazil and the U.S.A. and was on my way with the following leagues, starting in January 2008:

South Africa - ASBA Premiership ( only )
Hong Kong - HKFA First Division ( only )
India - I-League ( only )
Indonesia - Super League ( only )
Malaysia - Liga Super ( only )
Singapore - S.League ( only )
S. Korea - K-League ( only )
Belarus - Vysshaya Liga ( only )
England - League 2 and above
Hungary - Soproni Liga ( only )
Israel - Ligat Toto ( only )
Scotland - First Division and above
Slovakia - Corgon Liga ( only )
Slovenia - 1.SNL ( only )
Spain - La Liga ( only )
Colombia - Copa Mustang ( only )
Uruguay - Torneos Locales ( only )

I'm going to holiday for a month each time until some sympathetic chairman feels pity on me and offered me the chance to take charge of his lowly side. So wish me luck and... Bon Voyage!! :)

I've not been playing much Vauxhall lately, still in my second season and top of the league by miles. I made an amazing tactic and have been concentrating on that with different games (R. Madrid - won league, champions league 1st season) (Celtic - won league and scottish cup 1st season) and testing it with Lurgan Celtic in the 3rd Northern Irish Division and currently top of the league. Will tell you all about it in school next week and see for English, do we have to read a book by the time we get back?
 
Well how daft am I !? Turns out that most seasons don't start until August 08 so no-one will get sacked or resign after bad results! :@ :( Oh well, I'll just keep waiting.

Cool, but I was actually trying to make a cheeky joke about your end-of-season catastrophe! Well done on your other successes mate! btw I've wrote 3/4 of an essay on the book we've to read but Andrew, Brian, Michael etc. say we only need to read it!


Right well that's me going off for the night now, will be on tomorrow and hopefully I'll have a job to boast about as-well. These unemployment benefits... they're not so good. :( Lol! :P
 
Yeah I think we were only to read a book but I've still not got a book to read.. d'oh!

Yeeeeesssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!!

On the 21st July 2008, Manager Chris McLaughlin finally gets a breakthrough. Cd La Equidad, 16th in the Copa Mustang Second Phase Overall, have offered me a job. They are predicted to finish 7th of 18, and after a poor start of 2 points in the first 3 games, they sacked Alexis Garcia. Sounds like a cauldron of pressure! I have been given £275,000 transfer budget and £7,250 to spend on wages. However, we are already £700 over in wages so that will have to change. Here are some screenshots of my team, information, league table, finances etc.
 
My first game as manager did not go so well. My side crashed to a 3-0 defeat away to Tolima, who were 1 position below us in 17th - where we are now. My strikers couldn't hit an erection. As you can see, 10 shots - 0 on target. Overall however my team played quite decent with some good football. Shame we couldn't score really.
Their striker Franco got a dubious hat-trick. His first was certainly off-side while there was a slight suspicion of it for the second. THe third however was just bad defending.
 
Things are now beginning to click. Secured a solid 2-2 draw with Fc Medellin, who are 2nd. Versatile attacker Yessu Carbrera was sent off but we managed to ****** an equalizer in the last minute. :D However, conceding 5 goals in 2 games is unacceptable and I am switching keepers, with former captain Rolando Ramirez replacing highly rated 23 year-old CArlos Bejanrano. New captain Juan Diego Gonzalez is out injured and he is replaced by Hugo Soto, who can play anywhere across the back-line.

No way, I always save after every third game in case of crashes, and I was doing so when, lo and behold it did crash! :@ Now the save game file is corrupt! :@ Aaaaaaarrgggggghhhhhh so annoyed, first game I've really got into in ages! :@ So, I guess that my crazy career is no more. :(
