My FM crashed

I just clear my computer up and reinstalled it....
I have successfully installed and activated it but it doesnt work.
Nothing comes out after I clicked the icon.
Does anyone know why? Or just because I made some wrong setting on my computer or have not downloaded some drivers?
btw, I am using windowsXP.

I hope its not the wrong place to post.

If you have vista then right click the icon and press "Run as Admin'.."and it should work, or it is probably easier to start it up from steam, go into steam, then the games section, then click launch. Hope this helps!
