My Fulham squad 2nd season

Hi there FM players, I will now type you my Fulham squad for season 2010/2011, but the purpose is that someone of you recommends me a good defender (center) because I sold Brede Hangeland to Atletico Madrid for 10 million euros.

So here is the squad:

Goalkeepers:

Vladimir Stojković (he played for me in 1st season on loan, now i bought him for 675K)
Nikolay Mihaylov (signed him on a free transfer, as a sub for Stojković)

Defenders:

Chris Baird
Fredrik Stoor
Philipp Degen (bought him in 1st season for 1.8 million euros)
Stephen Kelly
Paul Konchesky
John Pantsil

Midfielders:

Kagiso Dikgacoi
Dickson Etuhu
Jonathan Greening (he was signed before i took over, i don`t need him, he`s 32)
David Beckham (i signed him on a free transfer from sentimental reasons )
Bjorn Helge Riise
Simon Davies
Zoltan Gera
Clint Dempsey
Luis Boa Morte (just signed him on a free transfer)
Damien Duff
Diomansy Kamara
Danny Murphy

Forwards:

David Elm
Andy Johnson
Eddie Johnson
Bobby Zamora
David N`Gog (on loan from Liverpool)

So, I am asking for help about two questions:
Who should I bring as a compensation for Hangeland? (I've got 19 million for transfers)
Who should I appoint as my captain? In 1st season captain was Danny Murphy, but he's now 33 years old and I don't plan to put him in starting line- up that much any more.

arsenaljames22, i mixed in my first season with a bit different squad 4- 5- 1 and 4-4-2 diamond, I will try in pre season matches the formation that Roma usually plays (with two MCs, and three AMs).

I just signed Leandro Rinaudo from Napoli as a CB for 5 million euros

seems to be a good signing, especially in the more important stats for a defender

In the meantime i sold John Pantsil to Everton for 2.5 million euros and Mark Schwarzer to Birmingham for 575 K (very good price for a keeper who is 37)
And I bought Ivan Rakitić from Schalke! So my squad looks like this for this season.
