create him a training schedule and make the aerobic to intensive. so he works on his pace, agility, balance and acceleration and etc.

get atleast 6 or 7 star fitness coaches in.

i would prefer faster players in my team though, unless u wana play him as a target man cuz he'll be most probably be eaten up by pacey defenders.8-|
