One thing that bothers me is the difference in relative strength of the teams chosen. Would it be possible in the editor to set up identical teams full of players all set with the same skill (say 14 in all categories?)

If you read the last part of the OP, you'll see that I'm struggling in creating such database.. It was never really playable..
So, if you know how to or if you have such database.. I'm happy to use it. Just make sure its playable for the whole season.

I used FM Editor.. Created the competitions, edited the england nation rules, etc. etc..
If you want, I'll upload the database for you.. maybe tomorrow..

If by 'twice' u meant post #41 and #46, then its because I saved and made update every 5 league games. Just wanna show the readers how the test was progressing. Post #41 was the stage when the league was completed which was before the Cup Final and the Champ. Playoffs.

Post #46 was actually the conclusion of the whole round. After few weeks readers normally ask which tactics were tested in a particular round, so I could refer them to the post later.

For the details you could simply click on the images, they will give you the matches, W-D-L, goals, etc.

EDIT: Owwwwh, if by 'twice' you meant the league table screenshots, then its because one reader (few pages back) asked me to display the league as a Home-Away results. So the left most stats are home game results, and vice versa for the right side stats..
