My Ipod is too Quiet!

I bought new headphones for my 4th gen Ipod touch yesterday and when I played music I can bearly hear it! I've checked on Itunes, and on my ipod and the volume seems to be on full?

Any idea?

No it was fine :/ - Was using the apple ones, but I bought 22 pound JVC ones yesterday.

It's probably the headphones, or your volume setting for it has reset.

do you still have the old ones?
if so try them and if the volume is ok then it is your new headphones causing the problem
