Leeds (2) v (1) Chelsea (Jo, Pacheco) League Cup Semi Final 2nd Leg

Turned out to only be a consolation win as I went out on aggregate, but was still nice to get a win against a major team and get the confidence up.

Leeds (4) v (1) Rochdale (Lukaku x2, Neymar, Browne) FA Cup 4th Round

Decent result against a poor opponent. Rested a few players but still picked up a few goals.

Tottenham (0) v (0) Leeds

Decent away point against a tough opponent.

Everton (2) v (2) Leeds (Tomkins, Jo)

Another decent away draw and Tomkins scored again ! Turning into a bit of a goalscoring machine this season with now 7 goals to his name. Jo also added the 16th of his campaign.

Leeds (4) v (2) Bristol City (Jo x2, Rodwell, Tomkins)

Although it seems like a comfortable win, the amount of goals I am conceding lately is disappointing me. Think a massive investment in a centre back is going to be made at the end of the season in replacement of Huth as he is getting a bit old and slow now. If it continues I might put Srna back in the team as RB and move Micah Richards back to CB.

Leeds (2) v (2) Wolves (Kakuta, Neymar)

See what I mean ? 2 more goals conceded after taking a tidy 2-0 advantage I again drop points in the last 20 minutes. Very disappointing draw.

Leeds (4) v (0) Shakhtar (Jo x2, Browne, Jang Yong) Euro Cup 1st round 1st leg

Absolutely fantastic result which should safely see me through into the next round, bar a massive collapse in the 2nd leg. Jo is back amongst the goals big style this season.

Aston Villa (2) v (1) Leeds (Jang Yong)

Tough away game but the poor form in the league continues. Can't seem to hold any results together at the moment losing what would have been a decent draw with less than 10 minutes to go. Things are going to have to change....

Shakhtar (1) v (2) Leeds (Pyatov O.G. Jo)

Another good win to see me through safely with a 6-1 aggregate win over a decent team in Shakhtar. Need to keep this form up for all competitions though but a Euro Cup win would be a good consolation for crashing out early of the Champions League.

Leeds (2) v (0) West Ham (Lukaku, Jang Yong)

Started Micah Richards back at CB for this game and he should have been man of the match IMO. He dominated aerially winning all 19 of his headers. Think i''m going to be sticking with him there for now but my only worry is if Srna has the fitness to play RB week in week out at the age of 34.
Southampton (0) v (2) Leeds (Srna, Lukaku) FA Cup 5th Round

Srna certainly proved me wrong.... A man of the match display has earnt him a regular place at RB now, and another clean sheet leads me to believe I have found the team to hopefully turn around my season and get me back in the running for some silverware. 13 points behind Arsenal with 3 games in hand, could be an interesting run in.

Leeds draw Arsenal at home in the FA Cup 1/4 Final.

No idea why this game was played so soon after the previous round but im quite please I can play it whilst in form.

Leeds (3) v (0) Arsenal (Lukaku, Neymar x2) FA Cup 1/4 Final

Great result showing just how well the boys are playing at the moment. Strikers back amongst the goals and 3 clean sheets on the bounce. Lets keep this form up! Nice 2 assists from John Browne on the right flank in the place of the injured Alex.

Leeds v Peterbrough FA Cup Semi Final - Easily the weakest team left in the competition, but I will not be taking anything for granted and will field a full strength team to ensure I have a chance of retaining my title.

Leeds (0) v (4) Genoa Euro Cup 2nd Round

Oh dear. 5 shots on target 4 goals for Genoa in a match where the scoreline massively flattered Genoa. I had the better of the game in terms of possesion and shots, but only 1 thing matters and thats the scoreline. Did have some big injuries throughout the squad and was lining up without either of my RM's, Neymar, Sandro and Rodwell. No excuses, awful performance.

Leeds () v () Swansea (Jo,

Jo hit an unbelievable 35 yard volley to get the only goal of the game vs bottom club Swansea. As well as a great win, Arsenal who were top of the league and United in 2nd drew so if I win my games in hand I can move to within 2 points of them.

Genoa (1) v (1) Leeds (Neymar) Euro Cup 2nd leg

Result wasn't really important as there was no chance of me winning 5-0 away against the Italian champions.

Chelsea (1) v (2) Leeds (Alex, Jo)

Great comeback after going behind within 16 minutes. Scored 2 in quick succession in the 30th and 32nd minute to take the lead which I would see out for the rest of the game. BIG win as I look to catch the teams above me in the league.

Here's a look at the table going into the final stretch, also have a big FA Cup Semi Final to play which will be exciting. Bedtime now, will finish this season off 2moro afternoon whilst watching Jeff on Sky Sports :)

Newcastle (1) v (2) Leeds (Browne, Elliot O.G.)

Good win away from home to keep the form up. and the pressure on an in form Arsenal who are no unbeaten in 22 games.

Southampton (0) v (2) Leeds (Worthington, Lukaku)

Another clean sheet and 3 points on the road as Worthington, an England under 21's defensive midfielder, bags his first goal of the season with a sweet left footed effort from just outside the area. Lukaku adds a second to bring the 3 points home.

Leeds (1) v (0) Plymouth (Jo)

Tighter game than expected but just pleased to be able to keep the winning form up.

Leeds (1) v (2) Peterbrough FA Cup Semi Final (Pacheco)

Very disappointing result in a game which we dominated. Had 22 shots compared to there 4, but 2 spectacular freekicks from one of their players somehow won them the game. Having taken a pretty early lead, Peterbrough just sat back and let wave after wave come at them. Nothing was working for Leeds until Pacheco entered the fray and scored a lovely curling effort but a 89th minute free kick from the edge of the box, after a James Tomkins red card, sealed them a place in the FA Cup final vs Aston Villa.

Sheff Utd (2) v (2) Leeds (Sandro, Srna)

Saw another 2-0 lead slip, which has happened far too much this season. This result has pretty much decided the Premier League champions and even a win against leaders Arsenal in the next game would leave me 4 points behind with just 3 games to, and a tricky away trip to Man City next up for me, doesnt look like i'm going to be winning anything this year.

Leeds (1) v (1) Arsenal (Srna)

Looked like making the run in a bit more interesting with a solid performance but a mistake at the back allowed Bendtner in to equalise with 15 minutes to go. Gambled and pushed for the winner but nothing came of it. 7 points ahead and 7 points behind of the teams around me so 2nd place is pretty much guaranteed.

Man City (3) v (2) Leeds (Jo, Moreira O.G.)

Going into the break 1-0 down I told the players this was unnaceptable, they responded and scored 2 quick goals to take the lead with just 6 minutes of the second half played. Man City reacted well and dominated the game from here, scoring one 10 minutes later and the winner in the 81st minute. Really need to learn to keep a lead from a winning position if this club are going to make the step up to the next level.

Leeds (4) v (1) Liverpool (Neymar x2, Rodwell, Pacheco)

Good win against a rival and this result means there is still a tiny shread of hope I can retain my premier league title.

Burnley (2) v (2) Leeds (Browne, Pepper O.G.)

Well thats it, the title has gone to the Emirates. Congratulations to Arsenal who were fantastic this season. 30 games unbeaten at the moment and they deserve the title in fairness. Hopefully I can improve on my squad and make a real go of winning back the league next season, as well as doing better in the Champions League.

Leeds (3) v (0) Sheffield United (Browne, Rodwell, Neymar)

Easy last game of the season so gave some of the younger lads a runaround as there was nothing riding on it. Also gave starts to the older players who were leaving at the end of the season in order to give them a fond farewell, especially to 35 year old Darijo Srna, the club captain, who has been fantastic in his 4 seasons at the club after joining for £15m in the 2012/13 season.

Neymar secures third place in the player of the season competiton after hitting 25 goals and 12 assists in 46 games. Not as good as last year but still a pretty good return from the Brazilian.

Alex earns himself the Young Player of the Year accolade after a fantastic season from the Brazilian winger. 4 goals, 14 assists and an average rating of 7.03 meant the 21 year old got the recognition he deserves.

I also claimed runner up in the manager of the year competition, which was a nice end to a satisfying season. We have shown that last year wasn't a fluke and we should now be considered major title contenders. Hopefully this will mean players of a higher reputation and ability will be interested in joining me, and I will not have to take as many gambles on youngsters. Here's a few screenshots to wrap up this update and the season.

unlucky in the end mate... what u goin 2 do next season as in changes to the team?

BIG NAME SIGNINGS ARRIVE AT ELLAND ROAD !!

Leeds have today announced the signings of none other than FERNANDO TORRES. Despite being 33 years old the striker will have a massive impact on the squad and give them some added experience up front in the champions league. He also managed to score 21 goals in 23 premier league games for Liverpool last season.

As well as the signing of Torres, Leeds manager Jake Hopper announced the signing of experienced centre back Cristian Zapata. The 30 year old colombian is a fantastic player and will hopefully form a great partnership with Micah Richards to dominate the oppositions strikers next season.

Other signings have been made and here's the screenshots of who has been brought in and who has left the club.

Took a big gamble of Hronec, but I think he looks like a top class player and could form a deadly partnership with Neymar. Think I will use Torres as a sub as he has the ability to make an impact in the game late on, perhaps also starting him in Champions League games. Klaasen also looks like a good replacement for Srna. Performed exceptionally in pre-season with no goals conceded and 46 goals scored in the 11 friendlies. Other teams news sees Rodwell replace Srna as captain and Sandro steps up to take the vice-captain role.

Torres could be the best signing of the season as he was very cheap

that regen looks very good how much did u have to spend mate

when next update mate very good read this as im a leeds fan haha

£18m I think it was. Going to play a few games now with the new team, see how good they are !

Decided to change my tactical approach this season as the 4-4-2 was getting a bit predictable. Opted for a 4-2-3-1 with 3 AMC but the player insturctions I have set these players will hopefully prove to be to much for the opposition. Dropped Neymar back to one of the AMC slots, in the centre as an inside forward as he has good creativity, off the ball and passing. Integral to the success of this formation will be new striker Hronec as he has the pace and the aerial presence to give every defender a nightmare.

Leeds (2) v (0) Southampton (Hronec, Neymar)

Although not a hard game, this showed that the team adapted well to the new formation and the 2 key players both grabbed a goal. The short quick passing game meant I dominated Southampton and should have scored more.

Leeds (0) v (0) Liverpool

Hronec injured within 3 minutes, Torres failed to make an impact against his former club meaning I was left lacking up front. Decent point early in the season and Hronecs injury was only for a day so he will be back for the big trip to Old Trafford.

Man United (0) v (3) Leeds (Hronec, Neymar, Torres)

Fantastic win against a resurgent Man United. After a few poor seasons they performed a lot better last season and were once again tipped for a good title challenge this season. However, I knocked them down a peg or two with a massive away victory. Torres even grabbed a goal with a cameo appearance for the last 5 minutes. 3 goals for the 3 main strikers, good news.

Massive Champions League draw for Leeds
Seeded 3rd for the group draw things could't have gone much worse for Leeds as they were drawn into Group G alongside BARCELONA, PORTO and TIMISOARA. Barcelona and Porto will be very tough games but the prospect of playing at the Nou Camp and Dragao and also hosting Barcelona at Elland Road will surely be enough to excite the fans.

Aston Villa (2) v (1) Leeds (Neymar)

Not too disheartened as it was a good performance and on another day could have easily gone my way. Still find it hard to beat Villa as the pace of Agbonlahor and Welbeck still causes my defenders massive problems. Lets hope we can keep our heads up and get over this result fast.

Leeds () v () Sunderland (Richards (1))
Thought of another idea to maybe give you readers a bit more information, the number in brackets after the player is the number of goals they now have for the season.
After international break the players come back and seemed pretty lethargic. Still managed to scrape a victory against a decent Sunderland side after a Micah Richards headed goal from a corner.

Porto (0) v (3) Leeds (Pacheco(1), Torres(2), Sandro(1))

Absolutely fantastic result and I regard it as one of my best since being in charge of Leeds. The decision to start the experienced Torres in the Champions League paid off as he bagged a goal and an assist. Pacheco scored the opener just 30 seconds after replacing the injured Neymar. Torres coolly finished of a nice move before Sandro smashed in a 30 yard strike off the bar to my delight. Very proud of a great away performance and hopefully this will result in me finishing above Porto in the group.

Here's a quick glance at my new tactic to wrap up tonights update. The wingbacks have the license to bomb forward and supply the crosses although the width of the team is very wide, so the more attackers also tend to drift in to the flanks and I have set their wide play to run into channels. The middle AMC is an inside forward who looks to get into the box as much as possible, as well as playing the ball through for the Complete Forward up front. Rodwell is a ball winning midfield whilst Sandro is box to box. I always prefer to have a box to box midfielder, especially one with the physical stats as Sandro. All of his physical stats are at least 15 which is phenominal. He also has great defensive midfielder and attacking midfielder stats, so he is the complete midfielder and I would consider him one of my best signings so far and advise anybody to sign him.

well done mate looked like signing torres is gonna pay off for u
lookin 4ward to next update

Ipswich (1) v (4) Leeds (Pacheco x2(3), Torres(3), Worthington(1))

After going behind in the 6th minute and staying there until half time, the lads showed tremendous character for coming back and thumping Ipswich in the 2nd half. Pacheco didnt really shine last year as he didnt fit into the sytem but this year, playing as an actual AMC, he is playing very well and good be a key player for us this season. Torres grabbed another goal off the bench and his arrival, along with other goalscorer Worthington, sparked the comeback in the 55th minute.

Wigan (2) v (3) Leeds (Jang Yong x3(3)) - League Cup 3rd Round

Great hatrick from Jang Yong on his first start of the season. Rested up some players against championship side Wigan but they injured 2 of my players in the first half resulting in Sandro and Zapata not getting much rest at all. All in all a decent win and glad to progress to the next round in what could have been a tricky game.

Coventry (3) v (3) Leeds (Hronec, Torres, Jo)

After taking a lead twice in this game I found myself behind with 10 minutes to go after a Faubert cross floated over Pouplin and into the back of the net. Jo come on and scored within 3 minutes to save a point. Hronec went of injured at half time after scoring a first half goal and was replaced by Torres, who bagged another goal. Looking like £6m well spent.

Up next for Leeds is a massive champions league game which sees them hosting spanish giants BARCELONA. This has the potential to be a great game and will give Leeds a good indication of where they stand in terms of quality compared to other top teams in Europe. Also, Jake Hopper claims the manager of the month award for recent performances in September.

Leeds (0) v (1) Barcelona

A Messi penalty was the only goal of a relatively disappointing game which Leeds probably edged and should have earnt themselves at least a point. A positive from the game is the £2.2m raised from gate receipts which will help the club out a lot financially.

Leeds (2) v (1) Burnley (Pacheco, Jang Yong)

Jang Yong off the bench scored the winner in the 85th minute after a good leeds performance but who just couldn't wrap the game up after taking an early lead. This almost proved costly for Leeds as Burnley scored an equaliser just after half time. But the young South Korean who is in rich goalscoring form bagged another to secure the 3 points. An injury crisis in centre midfield has meant that for now Leeds will have to switch back to the 4-4-2 of last season.

Kakuta will be very proud of earning his first France cap this week, also bagging a goal for his country. He has been knocking on the door for several seasons with great performances in the league. Maybe it was the big stage of the Champions League that got him noticed, but he deserves his shot at the big time and hopefully can go on from here to become a national hero.

Bolton (1) v (1) Leeds (Pacheco)

The draw was a fair result here as neither team performed very well. Pacheco scored a great free kick to level the game after Bolton took the lead after just 22 seconds. Hronec and Torres failed to form any sort of partnership up front in the 4-4-2 and this may have to be looked at for the next game, with 1 of them possibly being dropped for Jang Yong.

F.C. Timisoara (0) v (3) Leeds (Burlacu O.G, Torres x2)

The whipping boys of Group G bent over for Leeds as we picked up the 2nd win out of 3 in the group so far. Even better than this is the Barcelona win over Porto which puts me 3 points ahead of Porto and I have to play them at home, meaning I have an excellent chance of qualifying from the group this season.

Arsenal (3) v (1) Leeds (Rodwell)

Going one nil down and being dominated in the first half I thought it could have been a lot worse at half time until Rodwell popped up with an equaliser just before the break. However, the goal didnt inspire the team and after half time we collapsed again letting Arsenal walk all over us. Perhaps lucky that it was only 3-1 in the end.

Leeds (1) v (1) Arsenal (Jang Yong) League Cup 4th Round - Leeds win 5-4 on penalties

Revenge over Arsenal as I knock them out of the league cup on penalties. Took the lead in extra time but then conceded in the 116th minute.

Another update will come tonight, now for dinner and work :(

---------- Post added at 11:30 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:03 PM ----------

Played a lot of games so not going to do full reports for the games as that would take ages for me to catch up. Will just write the scorers so you can see whose getting the goals.

November

Leeds (4) v (1) Chelsea (Alex , Hronec, Neymar, Jang Yong)
Leeds (6) v (0) Timisoara (Hronec x3, Kakuta, Neymar, Rodwell)
Leeds (3) v (1) Nottm Forest (Hronec x2, Neymar)
Everton (2) v (2) Leeds (Neymar, Torres)
Leeds (2) v (1) Porto (Pacheco, Jang Yong)

Good month and was unbeaten in all competitions as well as scoring a lot of goals. Hronec and Neymar are forming a great partnership. Player of the month goes to Hronec for his 6 goals.

December

Leeds (0) v (1) Man City
Leeds (2) v (1)
Man City (Neymar, Torres) League Cup 1/4 Final
Newcastle (1) v (3) Leeds (Hronec x2, Mexes O.G.)
Barcelona (2) v (3) Leeds (Jang Yong x2, Neymar) Qualified for knockout stage as group winners.
Leeds (2) v (0) Wolves (Tomkins, Neymar)
Bristol City (2) v (2) Leeds (Torres, Kakuta)

---------- Post added at 04:48 PM ---------- Previous post was yesterday at 11:30 PM ----------

Going to now leave this game and start a new one after winning the 3 cup competitions this season.

Leeds (1) - (0) Wolves - Carling Cup Final
Leeds (5) - (0) Newcastle - FA Cup Final
Leeds (4) - (3) Arsenal - Champions League Final. Beat AC Milan, Real Madrid and Genoa in knockout phases.

Finished 3rd in the league but have already won that so now won all competitions and am going to retire.

Thanks for reading and please follow my next story if I decide to write it up, think I will be going Deportivo.
