My Man Utd in Patch 9.3.0

Thought I may as well join and say thanks for this formation, I've tweaked it a little to suit Liverpool and my signings, but this is only half way through my first season using this tweaked formation, already Carra has 14 goals, 4 against Bury :P, Zhirkov I brought in has been an amazing signing with well over a half of all my assists, Vagner Love has been immense too but has suffered a couple of long injuries as with Torres. I think I've created a very dangerous attacking Liverpool team. My only downfall is I concede alot too, but I score enough to make up for it . Heres some screenies (Notice the 11-0 Bury win).
how can u get to much money to buy to meny player on season 2009

what training do you think i should put cardozo and marquinhos on ( im playing marquinhos left mid nd right wing hes back up to zhirikov and balotelli)
Also what do training do you set your keepers on ???

Hey Hancuryahudi ^^)
I've been using the v4 of your tactic and its performing very nicely! :D
I play with Manchester City, and started using the tactic during the middle of the first season. I won the League (1 point ahead of Arsenal :D) and the UEFA Cup (2-0 against AC Milan!) thanks to it. Im in mid-second season now.

This was my transfer window before the first season started (board gave me 140M€):

manchestercity.png

I was using Vela and Balotelli during the first half of the season, and noticed the Strikers wont score that much with this tactic unless they are world class. In January I bought Cardozo, and he didnt score much either even with his five star attributes. "Probably a tactic that will work better with the fast, world class technical striker rather than the strong, pure striker (like Cardozo) or the reasonable-young promise forward (like Balotelli and Vela)", I thought. And then I bought Aguero before the second season; hes probably the best technical-forward in the game. And there it goes, nearly one goal per match at least in the second season.

Before that, I also want to point out that I won the League in the first season thanks to the corners. Fazio and Chiellini are not only top central defenders in the game but they also scored nearly more goals than the forwards in that first season. Each corner, there was like a 50% chance they would score! :D

You probably know they are both great and probably two of the best in the game, but I leave here a screenie of Chiellini to show how hes looking like in the middle of the second season, hes my vice-captain now as well:

3giorgiochiellini2.png

Another main rock of my team in the second season is Buonanotte. No one has pointed him out in this thread yet, but hes one of the best young wingers at least in my game. In the first season he wasnt a regular, but now he is always playing! Gotta love the little guy (161cm, hes really small in the pitch :P), I asked him to "run with ball down left" and thats what he does!

17diegobuonanotte.png

So now in the second season, these were my transfers. Board gave me 150M€ and I finished selling what was left of the original team. :'(

manchestercity3.png

I tried and made a crazy bid on Messi, surprised I was when they accepted. It said he wouldnt come unless it was a huge offer. Huge offer I did! :D

Also got the amazing Aguero as I said before, and Real Madrid offered me an unhappy Van der Vaart for a cheap 12M€. An excelent reinforcement for my midfield I thought. My assistant kept telling me the Goalkeeper was the weak link of the team so I satisfied him by spending the remaining money with Akinfeev. I happily gave 35M for the best left defender of the game too. At least the one who fits my game better:

5juanmanuelvargas.png

So this is what my main eleven looks like:

manchestercity2.png

And this is how it is performing so far in the second season:

englishpremierdivisiong.png

Also finished first in the Champions group (though it was a quite easy one), and thanks to my amazing new signings, won the European Super Cup with a stunning 5-3 against Chelsea. Chelsea is the second best team in the Premier League, Ive never seen an AI team getting so many quality signings like Chelsea did. They bought Vagner Love, Zhirkov, Quaresma, Palombo and Srna! :O

So my next objective is to get the best team possible for this tactic. (H)

The best defense possible I already have. I cant find a central defender that fits better than Fazio and Chiellini; Vargas is impossible to beat. Richards is too defensive for a winger, still, he "runs forward whenever possible", and often helps the team in the ATTACK with his amazing heading and stealing the ball from the other team DEFENDERS with his tackling. My right attack differs from the left one thanks to the differences between Richards and Vargas, still both styles work great and that gives personality to the team. Kinda.

europe.png

For the best midfield. Messi, Fernández and Veloso are there to stay. Messi you know why. Veloso is one of the best players in the game to fill that position in this tactic. Hes not only a great more-defensive midfielder (I trained him so "Midfield" is natural for him like DM), but also has amazing technical stats to help the team when attacking. I wasnt able to find a better attacking midfielder than Fernández so far, either. Attributes-wise he beats Sneijder, age-wise he beats Lampard. And most others.

Only Buonanotte remains. His attributes are great. Still, I have my eyes on the best left attacker of my Football Manager in my opinion. Which is David Silva. :D

The strikers. Aguero is perfect, Robinho isnt scoring at all. My ultimate plan is to get Cristiano Ronaldo and train him to play as Striker. He has attributes that fit a striker more than a winger, and he seems the perfect partner for Aguero.

So this is my plan for the third season:

GK: Akinfeev
DL: Vargas
DR: Micah Richards (Captain)
DC: Federico Fazio
DC: Chiellini (Vice Captain)
MCd: Miguel Veloso
MCa: Matías Fernández
AML: David Silva
AMR: Messi
SC: Cristiano Ronaldo
SC: Sergio Aguero

SUBS: Shay Given, Sakho, Van der Vaart, Buonanotte, Balotelli, Robinho.

I think if the board gives me 150M again (it should if i can win the League and maybe the Champions) I can get Ronaldo and Silva with that amount. Juan Manuel Mata is a good alternative if Silva doesnt come. I need a good substitute for Richards as well. Any ideas on a great right-defender? I wasnt able to find one yet.

I also will be selling Wayne Bridge, de Jong, and either Cardozo or Vela for some more money.

So thats it. Ill show you in case i manage to get that team i want, and post the results I get with it while using your tactic. :D

han , ive jst been offered 30 mill for nani frm chelsea with 15% of profit frm next sale

i was wunderin if i shud accept it

hancuryahudi can u give me a training schedule for messi please?

Wath talk to the team and instructions to use rival

I'm always ask my assistant to give them a teamtalk..^^)

---------- Post added at 02:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:03 AM ----------

Do u play evra or Marcano?

Both of them. Evra as fullback and Marcano as DC. Evra can assist and rotate with Vargas. Vargas is rotate with Zhirkov. While Marcano can scores from corners and freekicks. ^^)

what training do you think i should put cardozo and marquinhos on ( im playing marquinhos left mid nd right wing hes back up to zhirikov and balotelli)
Also what do training do you set your keepers on ???

I have created training for Marquinhos. For Cardozo, use Jo's training. Also, attach keeper training. All this training is original from Tug's Training but I already tweaked it to suit to players abilities. ^^)

hancuryahudi im in the beggining of first season with barcelona as i wanted a bit of time of my napoli game nd my scout said vargas is better than messi

Maybe he is better. His attributes is awesome but to make him to play better, you need to set him to adapt his game by "Run With Ball Left Flank". After he finished with this skill, set again to him to "Move Into Channel".

Result, he dribbling with ball to down left flank with moving into channel. So, when he move into the channel, he can scores or passing to other friends. ^^)

hancuryahudi can u give me a training schedule for messi please?

Here you go..I have created it on Balotelli. But Balotelli's training is a little bit different with Messi. Also, set his game by "Run With Ball Down Right Flank". ^^)

han , ive jst been offered 30 mill for nani frm chelsea with 15% of profit frm next sale

i was wunderin if i shud accept it

Accept it and buy someone likes Vargas, Mata, Zhirkov (I think you already have him), Alexis Sanchez, Matias and Balotelli. ;)

---------- Post added at 02:43 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:42 AM ----------

i tried to set messi to tht nd he said no point

Ohh..I see. Maybe he thinks his skill is enough. But you can try another one. Try to set him to "Always Killer Balls When Possible".

Nice explanation mate. I like it. ^^) Ok..seems the tactic is working well with your team except the strikers that cannot scores a lots of goals. But I have a solution. I will explain it later.

Now, focus on your squad 1st. Your attacking power is so strong. Try sign Silva and Ronaldo. If you sign both of them, Silva can play as AML while Ronaldo as a ST, partner with Aguero. Aguero is similar with Ronaldo. Both can scores a lots of goals.

Robinho is a good player. He scores a lots of goals for my City team in 1st season with that instructions (see the screenies). Don't ever sell Vela and Balotelli. Both are world class players for next 2-3 seasons. Believe me, they are so powerful. (see the screenies. Their attributes in my United game at 2013-2014 season). At this moment Silva is much better than them. :D

Your MC is strong with Matias and Veloso, but you still need a backup in case both of them is injured. So, I recommend Alan Dzagoev and Hamsik. Alan Dzagoev can be a great player. Hamsik can be MCd likes Veloso. But his cost is expensive. I think you can bought him because you are Man City. ;)

For defense lines, Micah is a great defender but his crossing and dribbling is worst. So, I recommend Cesar Azpilicueta. He is my 1st choice in my United team (see the screenies). Goalkeeper, Lloris, Akinfeev, Mandanda, Gordon, Asenjo and Pele are some of the great goalkeepers in game. I sign Gordon. He is a great goalkeepr (cheaper than Lloris, Mandanda and Akinfeev) but he has not won the European Goalkeeper of the Year even though he has conceded less goal (see the screenies).

Now, solution for tactic. For Aguero, you make him as one of your playmakers and one of two target man. Make him to cross from "Byline" and set to him to adapt his game by "Move Into Channel" first and after he finished learned, set again to him to "Run With Ball Down Right Flank". For Robinho, make his mentality to minimum of attacking, so he will do attacking jobs for 80% while 20% left to help MC to get the ball. You can try to set his instruction likes I have used to Robinho in my game. (2nd screen)

If you don't want to sell Cardozo you can get a best from him by set his instructions like the screen (I have created it on Ronaldo, but Ronaldo original training is different).

Last but not least, ask me when you have problems. And update your game and let me know how it's going. Hopes it will help you mate. ;)

They WERENT scoring a lot of goals, but they surely are now! :D Aguero scores almost every game, and Im siding him more with Balotelli than with Robinho now and hes scoring as well. (A)

Yea I wont sell Balotelli for sure. Dunno about Vela or Cardozo. I like them both but, Aguero, Balotelli, Vela, Cardozo, Ronaldo and Robinho, thats 6 people for 2 positions, a bit too much. :D Aguero, Ronaldo and Balotelli will be the used ones, and they are all young which means they will be there for a lot of time.

So from Vela, Cardozo and Robinho someone has to go. Cardozo has crazy attributes, and unlike everyone else he is a pure striker, something I might need in the future or some particular hard games. Attributes-wise it seems Robinho is the worst of the three. Ill wait til Vela gets as good as in your game and see if he has a place in the squad. I bet it will be hard for him. (H)

Your MC is strong with Matias and Veloso, but you still need a backup in case both of them is injured. So, I recommend Alan Dzagoev and Hamsik. Alan Dzagoev can be a great player. Hamsik can be MCd likes Veloso. But his cost is expensive. I think you can bought him because you are Man City. ;)

Well, when one of them gets injured I put Van der Vaart in. Hes not a very consistent top player but attribute-wise hes quite good for a sub. :D I tried to get Hamsik before him, but he was co-owned and they were asking for too much €. While I dont get anyone else, In an urgency I can always use someone like Messi, Ronaldo, Silva, Buonanotte, to play there. Anyway that seems to be the next signing, after Silva, Ronaldo and the right defender. <) Dzagoev looks like a Killer-ball freak.

For defense lines, Micah is a great defender but his crossing and dribbling is worst. So, I recommend Cesar Azpilicueta. He is my 1st choice in my United team (see the screenies).

Woot, that spanish guy is amazing in your game! I have to check in mine! Dunno how I never saw him before. XD Im definitely gonna try to sign him, hope he isnt costy. :P He has both good crossing and great defending attributes, he only loses to Micah in Heading and thats everything a winger doesnt need.

That way I would be able to rotate Richards with the other two Centrals, since Sakho is clearly not good enough to do it yet. Whenever I put him in, the team is pushed back because of his lack of quality compared to the other two. (6)

Now, solution for tactic. For Aguero, you make him as one of your playmakers and one of two target man. I might try that, will those moves with Aguero make a difference when I put Ronaldo there? :P

Btw what exactly is the effect of the "Move into Channels" move? Its the only one I dont understand, probably because I dont know what they mean with "Channels". :@

PS: Do you use opposition instructions before each game with the v4 tactic? I really cant tell a difference between when I use and when I dont.

Seems your Aguero is doing a good job (awesome player). You need a Aguero's partner with high creativity and passing to supply a killer ball to Aguero.

Yeah..to much. You can sell Cardozo and Robinho. Balotelli is a great player and he is better than Vela. But both of them is better than Robinho. So, you can rotate both of them with Messi, Aguero, Silva and Ronaldo. ^^)

Yeah. Dzagoev will be a great player. He is so good in passing a killer balls or through balls. Hamsik always be co-owned by clubs likes Inter and AC. Silva maybe suit with Matias position even though he is much better at AML and AMC positions. But Messi and Ronaldo are not suits with MCa position.

I agree with you. :D This spanish guy is amazing mate. He not scores more than 6-10 goals for season but his crossing is great. That's why he is better than Micah. Micah is good in the air, so he is better at DC position. ;)

Yeah, when you was bought Ronaldo and play him as ST, Aguero's instructions and moves on pitch is changed a little bit. But I think he can do a same job with Ronaldo which is SCORES A LOTS OF GOALS. ^^)

Guys..I could be offline for a week or two weeks because of my study. :( I'll be back as soon as possible. Any questions, leave in this thread, so someone can help the other people. ^^)

channels means on to the wing so if aguero learnt move into channels it means move into the wing to get space for the ball
