Hi I'm new here and to the game as a whole, to be true I'm still using the demo but plan to get the full game soon.

I'm playing as United right now. I was wondering what tactic is best to use in the first season. You have soo many. I know about 4 of them are similar. I'm currently using V4 I think. Who shall I put as a playmaker? Ronaldo is injured, I've bought Rodney Sneijder and Veloso.

I think you should use v7 One Latest. Because Chelsea likely suits to use lonely striker. You need to buy some additions players likes Aguero as your lonely striker, Zhirkov as AML, Vargas as ML and LB, Azpilicueta as WBR and Balotelli as AMR. Ronaldinho can play as AMC and he is your playmaker.

when training ronaldo as striker, do i have to play him as striker? if i play his as one will his learning rate increase or sth? or in general cases for training position?

plus do i have to improve my squad for the lone stiker tactic?

You need to play him as a lonely striker. Wow..you have so strong squad. Maybe need some backup. Aguero is suitable for AMC but since you have Mata, it is just an option. |)

Balotelli training was upload. That's great. Yes, he can be training use Ronaldo's training because Benzema also has a good abilities likes Ronaldo.

Ok, I see. Man Utd Patch 9.3.0, V3 and V4 are using 2 strikers. But V7 is use a lone striker and this tactic was created to use Ronaldo as a lonely striker. By this, I have transform Ronaldo to be a monster in front of goals.

You can put Veloso, Rooney, Giggs, Scholes and Carrick as your playmakers. The important things to choose who is a playmaker is by looking at his creativity and passing.

No, he is not a good player for Man Utd. But his brother, Rafael is good. What I have done is I keep him until I can get a good offer to sell him.

That's great. And of course your Vidic, Ferdinand and Evans scores a lots of goals from corners and freekicks. ^^) Give it try and let me know my mate.

I don't know which one Guilherme that you meant. But for me, I prefer Monzon because he is better than Guilherme. If you want a world class left side player, but Vargas (Fiorentina). He is my world class winger and become World Player of the Year in 2011. ^^)

tanx hanc. my vidic eventhough he's 32 now scores from freekicks and corners. had 2 sell evans b'cos he said he had stayed @ manutd for 2 long so i got a good offer 4rm PSG so i sold him. i now have fazio nd sakho 2 as def. YES VARGAS IS WORLD CLASS 4RM STRT TILL GAME IS NO MORE. LOL. in ma game i use vargas in left midfield nd thats y i wanted 2 know abt fabio. anyway i sold him 2 pompey 4 like 12mill + clauses nd sold fabio 2 boro 4 same. now i got srna and santon.

I just tried using the V7 version for my Juventus pre season friendly against AC Milan (away). It went badly. I had all the settings correct etc. My lineup wasn't its best but not bad:

GK:Fiorillo
RB:Zebina
CB:Grygera (As a CB)
CB:Legrotagglie
LB:Grosso
CM:Marchisio (with forward line)
CM:Felipe Melo
LM:Giovinco
AMiego
AMR:Camoranesi
STel Piero

I was 2-0 down at half time. then I switched over to the old V4 and came back to 2-2 by 55 mins. Then took the lead around the 60 min mark. But they equalized because Grygera sucks at CB.

Ok. I see. I suggest Neuer, Pele, Benaglio, Ochoa, Gordon and Enke as a backup goalkeeper. They are so good and can be a 1st choice. I have used Gordon as my 1st choice until I get a backup regen keeper.

v7 one is suitable to England. I use v7 one in my France squad and I have won European Championship and World Cup trophys. I can rate the England and France squad are same. They have a strong squad.

I can't help you about the skin. But I think you can adjust some file (re-edit it) and you can ask Sean how to solve this.

Thats good your team are back leveled. But I think your line up is not good enough. Where is your Buffon? Chiellini? You need to buy some good players so the tactic can working well. Maybe this lineup just your 2nd squad.

Buffon got an injury in training. Chiellini is out for about 1/2 months when you first start and Cannavaro is out for almost a month. Just to let you know I am using one of the summer 09 transfer updates so some players who were under rated have gone up a tad, like Melo.
The main problem for me is that when I ask the board for more funds (only given me 9.5mil) they say they cannot afford to. Is this maybe because I need to qualify for the champions league?

Also who should I sell out of my strikeforce, I have Del Piero (he is quality imo), Iaquinta, Amauri and Trezeguet. I find that Trez doesn't do much in games because he just tends to wait for a cross or a through ball with only the keeper to beat. Amauri and Iaquinta arn't as good with Finishing and Composure stats but they work harder for the team to create chances.

I might go for Lavezzi from Napoli as he is quick and has good dribbling skills, I heard Del Piero plays best with someone like Lavezzi. Do you have any suggestions? I think Rossi looks good, but then I could train Giovinco to be a striker and buy another AML.

I decided he wasn't worth having around because he never seems to perform for anyone and at the age of 27 he won't get any better. And I've bought Moutinho, plus for the CM role I already have Fletcher,Scholes,Hargreaves and Gibson.

Anyway, after seeing my screenshots who do you think I should purchase with the Carrick money?

Moutinho is a good replacement and he is better than Carrick. Your squad is strong. I think you need to cover your left side especially left back. So, I suggest Vargas as your cover. He also can play as ML and AML.

Valencia, Obertan and Tosic is doing pretty well for me. So, I keep him until 3rd season when I bought Messi, Silva and Vargas. |)

I think Amauri may start slow because he is a new arrival to the club. In my Juve squad though there is a fair amount of depth. You might not be familiar with the team but they have a good mixture of young talent and really good veterans. I will get you some screens.

Don't mean to be irritating but could you possibly check the Juve budget on the 9.3.0 patch to see if it has changed in the Summer 09 update I'm using?

I think I will check out Vargas. I got a scout report on him and my scout ( a very good one) said he would only be a decent buy. Do you have any other good LBs as cover?

I've been wondering if you have a good 4-2-3-1 variation of your formation because I'm having trouble fitting Giovinco and Diego into the same lineup. Do you think I should try you V7? I intend to try and buy Rossi. I think I will keep Amauri because he can run with the ball as can Iaquinta. Trez isn' that good imo and I will try and sell him.

honestly, i feel that u shouldn use the editor as imo it is basically cheating. in fact, they are already a decent squad. given their finances, u should be receiving more $$ in november to bolster your squad. if u are in need of $$, sell trez.
