when i saw this tactc and the design i was not very happy and thought it would lead me to failure in this patch once again...but surprise surprise... im in mid season...not doing too well with Benfica..in season 6..and was desperate..winning 3-2 or loosing and drawing with weak teams at home...

so i said i will give it a try with these...pluged the tactics the day before playing against Shakthar for UCL and won 6-1..then 3 days later...Porto...biggest rival...away...won 2-0 with good statistics...and so on...

do u use the home tactic plug and play or switch between tactics for home and away each time?
 
Been using this tactic for about 14 games. I cant keep possession, constantly getting battered by the other teams, and basically when i win, its because i was really lucky.

Ive actually got a good team aswell, second season with aston villa.

Benteke, Ross Barkley, Berradi, Tom Ince, Angel Correa, Tomas Martinez, etc

Ive only had the time to test this tactic with Man Utd so far, and it worked absolutely spot on.

I think for tactics to work you have to make sure youre players fit all the roles in the tactic.

When you scout a player it will show the roles that player is most competent at etc,

Also as far as keeping possession goes, all my players were top class players so their passing attributes, composure etc were all top end.

Perhaps if youve got a good team but not quite Man Utd quality just try tweaking the tactic a little by lowering the tempo from 'higher tempo' to 'lower tempo'
 
my tactic isnt fluid yeat but i end all matches qith 30 shots at least with these tactics...anda i had some draws recently...but played very well...just couldnt capitalize... i think the role of the striker has to change...the left forward and the Att Mid has more influence in the game and score more goals than the striker and is statistics are always the worst player..6.2, 6.3...ando so on
 
Yeah the striker role is hard to find a consistent role for him.

RVP scores for me, but he doesnt always score.

Ive tried poacher, but that doesnt work.

I have started a season with Ipswich using this tactic.

Although i have made a slight tweak. I think it may have given a bit more balance, and given the striker more space for his own performance??

ive moved the striker two positions to the right side of the pitch and the advanced playmaker 2 positions to the left.

So far im playing really well, considering im a predicted mid table championship side

I keep tweaking the tactic, so i then feel the need to keep starting again haha.
Im going to finish this season with Ipswich, then try another one with Man Utd.

I think this tactic would work alot of big clubs in the premiership to be fair?

Im still concerned about my advanced forward though?
His position or role doesnt seem to be getting the most out of him??

Im about to start my new season with Utd, so hopefully i can sort out the striker problem. Might try the winger as attacking so he gets more forward to support the Advanced forward, shall keep you updated.
