who would you recomend i have a very attack minded squad try to outscore rather then score and sit back full back wise ive had an eye for diego renan on fm2010 did quite well would u say he potentially for his age would be beneficial

cb otamendi looks a power house with his stats cant say ive bought him what price would he be availible for ?

wingers i have no idea who to go for i dnt use my scouts i like to go on a gut feeling i feel they take the fun from a gd signin or flushing money away but stuck on my winger thanks for the help :)

Adem Ljajic is a good young winger,
Phil Jones has a good chance of becoming a world class centre back.

The ones I've put a star next to should be good for your team. Playing a very fluid, attacking and wide tactic should have everyone in the play, so there are not some very big recommendations other than the ones I've put a star next to.

Well, the majority of them are fairly young, so I would say a good 3-5 years before they really start to show their class.

I have used most, if not all of them, and trained them in different positions. For example, for the centre backs, I retrain them to a right or left defender, depending on how good they are mentally or what foot they are strongest with.

Or, with the wingers, I try to retrain them to either a left or right winger, depending on which is their strongest foot or if they are good enough to play as an Inside Forward. Sometimes even if they are able to be versatile enough to swap flanks with another player who can play right and left winger good enough.

The improvements are there. It takes time before they really show their worth like I said. I look at their strongest attributes and, over time, determine what kind of player I would like them to be/what could be beneficial to the team within the next few years.

yer i can see what you mean like lukaku on 2010 after 2/3 years on my barca team he was amazing although this year i had him at liverpool on my first game and he was somewhat disapointing ..
but looking at the man u twins although both have quite good potential i may use them alot more as wingers due to my lack of cover

also another guy id like some info on is sergio canales i think he is owned by real madrid maybe loaned to castillo or something along those lines he does have some good attributes although should be pricey what do you think ?

I've seen Phil Jones become world class with Manchester United, although he was nurtured a lot, he still became one of the best players in the game as a centre defender.

Adem Ljijac improves rather fast, although you will see his improvements later in season 2, he's always quality and a natural winger :>

Sergio Canales become very good. I am sure that he does. He is world class on FM10 after a good 6-8 years, and should be the same on FM11. He takes quite a lot of nurturing into becoming a mentally capable playmaker, but, with that, he can become central to your attacking plans.

Are you sure Sergio Canales will leave Real Madrid the club he likes even for Manchester United?

I believe Bojan/Barcelona and Sergio Canales/Real Madrid are loyal players to their clubs ... Even then if Sergio Canales DID have interest, I doubt Real Madrid would sell him for anything remotely cheap :S

when i saw him i thought he could be very dangerouns through the centre of the pitch also i may take the dive on javier pastore he looks impressive but price tag is making me less excited lol

i feel he would leave but i rekon real madrid would make it worth there while also yer bojan is loyal to barca i believe 1 of his family members is in the staff there but i dont see much in bojan at the mo

You wont regret Phil Jones if you give him chances.

And Ljajic plays for Fiorentina, yes but I wouldn't know what the price is, I play them and I wouldn't sell him ...

arrr rite so for a ferdinand long term replacement he would fit nicely

so from your exsperience i should really take a closer look at ljajic

Don't mean to go off thread with Bojan, but him and Sergio Canales I have doubts they would leave. I also think Sergio Canales needs to be nurtured way to much to fulfill his full potential compared to other players, but in my saves his never made it into the Real Madrid roster ...

Yeah I strongly believe Phil Jones is the best young central defender in the game, not counting possible regens ...

And yes, I'd look at him closer, but there are many other wingers out there ... I just know Ljajic proves himself often ...

nah thats fine appreciate the help i saw his attributes and though canales with the rite help may push my current midfield i prob fink hes to old to be tutored aswell but as far as bojan goes when i was on my barca save on the 2010 edition he struggled for me expectation was huge but i replaced him with lukaku who turned out immense

hmm they both look very promiseing and after jovetic in fiorentina he was quality i fink it would pay of to sigh him

Yeah, Bojan is improved in FM2011 ... I don't follow CP/AP ... because I consider it cheating but I believe he's more attuned to being a full on force later. Although I think Lukaku is younger and is a better prospect to choose.

As for Jovetic, he's injured for pretty much the entire first season, which could effect his growth but I still believe he's a force to be reckoned with on the wing used well of course.

ive never used the atribute calculator either ive sorta just looked for key attributes relative to the positions i want to use them in but if the injury affects his growth thats a shame he has some amazing attributes to start with
and i may have a further look at bojan if not to sign him but to see if his attributes are more rounded

u ever tried moussa sissoko ?
