I, like many others, enjoy the challenge of starting the game with a lower league team and trying to get them through the challenges of a season. I decided to start my current season as Swindon Town... they are not the best team in the nPower L2, and not the worst either but still a challenge.
I have never been able to create a tactic that worked, so gotta admit that I have downloaded a couple from the database...seems to be working so far!!!

Currently 2nd in the league after 16 games, w10, d1, l5 f35, a23, 31 points

I just done a save with swindon played 6 games then save crashed for some reason but have u signed Sone Aluko
Jamal Adam And amhed Sokohuna all free transfers

I had a Swindon save that I took them to the Championship with promotions every season. Try playing a 4-2-4, a player I have stuck by throughout the FM series is Lee Trundle, sign him from Neith for around 8K, old but quality striker and impact player once you get into League 1. Miles Storey in the Youth system is also a good player.

try getting some loans off manchester city i think they're linked with city in the first season
