This has been mentioned on the WWE Thread but I have decided to make its own thread to post updates. MyOwnWWE is a website me and a friend run. It is like WWE but we write our own storylines and shows. We want this to be really successful so if you can follow that would be great.

The use of FreeWebs is already a start as to why, imo, won't be successful. The generic layout with just a wave going through is unnatractive, mixed with the coloured writing. You should get your own domain and website to make it more appealing - especially since it'll be standing on it's own two feet.

And how is it going to work? Are you going to post images of WWE superstars from real-life and write the storylines? Use the official videogame and play out the matches and use the Storyline Designer? The concept is not fully understood.

Again, imo, work on a few things and it could be half-decent. I have seen this sort of thing done thousands of times and it's just abandoned like a month later.

Firstly, we are starting off at FreeWebs to see if we can get followers and then will think of whether or not to purchase a domain.

It will work by me and a friend will be writing the matches and shows. Basically like a WWE.com but our own storylines.
 
Think the matches are too much.
You know, too many words in one paragraph.
 
Sorry, this idea is terrible!!!!

You could improve it by using the game to make the storyline!
 
sidgurung, are you suggesting to break the matches up in paragraphs? if this is the case then we can adapt to that.

Luke, its just a bit of fun and not all the superstars that we use are on the game. If you don't like the idea then that isn't my problem but its just me and a mate having a bit of fun :)
 
why do you have the Hardy's on it? They are both TNA wrestlers plus MVP and Batista are no longer in the WWE

This is because we decided to bring in some previous WWE wrestlers. You would have also noticed that Jericho and HBK are no longer with WWE but we have brought them back as well. Finally, there will be another few previous wrestlers to be brought back in the next week.

Layout is awful, background image is abysmal, red text doesn't look right on that background especially with the blue in the banner etc.

Just doesn't look good at all.
 
the layout of the page reminds me of something similar that I did in ICT when i was about 8....
 
Needs a bit of work but if it gets up and running well then I wil follow sounds like a good idea

I like the idea but I think the layout needs improving, im alright at photoshop and stuff so id be happy to hope as you see I created your sig?
 
By the looks of things it doesnt look like there is a certain minimum or maximum dimensions so whatever you think will look best for a background of a webpage.
