National teams Japan and Germany

Is there a way to JUST enable the national teams of Japan and Germany to either be playable or so they call actual players into the squad?

ive tried the 'delete nleague fake' etc thing but the japanese league teams become stuffed

When loading the game, you must go advanced and use custom database size, activating all Japanese nationals.

Yes. That's how I could manage them in FM15. In FM16 I couldn't because I forgot that step. I think the problem with playability is that unless you do that, the game doesn't generate enough regens to guarantee you'll be able to choose a full squad.
