I am going to start a game with Derby County. I am looking for a good 4-2-3-1 to use.
Please help me :D

Start with the default 4-2-3-1, set the striker to poacher, and buy somebody with 15+ pace and accel.

Should the lone striker be tall and strong (Sanogo type) or fast and agile (Neymar), for 4231 to work better?

I greatly prefer fast strikers, especially in championship. But of course any quality striker will do well, you might need a different role (and supporting cast) that suits him better though.

Haha, I forgot that Alberto Bueno starts the game on loan at Derby. He is perfect for you as a poacher. Stick with him... also he is a good 2nd season signing for anyone as he is relatively cheap and good quality player.

That should be quite good

Thanks for some good tips. I am going to try the Clough-tactic :)
