Need a CB - Stoke

Hi all, first post (hopefully of many!)

I'm at the start of my third season with stoke and Shawcross has finally left after asking to leave for a bigger club since the start of my game. Had to sell him for £11m, he was valued at 8m.

So now I have a gaping hole at the back and need a decent defender to fill in.

English would be an advantage but not necessary, i've been over performing so some top end defenders *might* come depending on price, ideally spending 5-10m.

Current defence:

LB: Zhirkov CB: Dann CB: ??????? RB: Simpson (offer in for Micah Richards as he's transfer listed for 2m)



P.S. I've tried for Phil Jones and Danny Wilson, blackburn want about 15m for Jones and Wilson is a no-go.

try raphael varane. I know he's young, but by 2013 in my Man City game he's my top CB, and i've played him from the very start at CB in my Spurs team, should be available for around 7 million.
if you'd prefer an older CB, try getting bruno alves from porto, but i dunno if he'll go to Stoke...
