I've started a game on the new update as Southampton, I've bought Shawcross and will Hughes with Hughes back at derby on loan for a season. I now have 0 cash and need a decent backup striker.
I dont think you would be available to buy anyone without any cash as free transfer would require some money. Try loaning a player . I cant suggest which player to be loaned cause i dont know which good players are often listed or are in your save
Macheda was pretty good for me, got around 22 goals in his first season at Soton. Of course, this was before the latest patch, so I dunno what things they did to him on the new patch yet..
