Need a good formation and a role for my liverpool player

1st of all sorry for poor english..i need a good formation tactic and a role my my team..
i have try many tactic before but the result still the same..my team is struggling to fight for top 4..can u help me to pick a good tactic for my team???
this is the currently used tactic

4-3-1-2

johnson-RB(wingback-auto)
carragher-CB(stopper-defence)
agger-CB(stopper-defence)
criscito-LB(wingback-auto)

hazard-LM(inside foward-attack)
vidal-CM(ball wining-support)
joe cole-RM(inside foward-attack)

gerrard-AM(advance playmaker-attack)

Carroll-ST(target man-support)
Suarez-ST(deep lying foward-attack)

subs-griezman,skrtel,mereiles,lucas,podolski,jones,kelly

Reina - Sweeper

ohnson-RB(fullback-auto)
carragher-CB(Limited Defender - Stopper)
agger-CB(ball playing defender - cover)
criscito-LB(fullback-auto)

hazard-LM(inside foward-support)
vidal-CM(ball wining-defend)
gerrard-AM(deep lying playmaker)
joe cole-RM(inside foward-support)



Carroll-ST(target man-support)
Suarez-ST(Poacher)

All though Carroll is your target man you should set suarez as target man run onto ball

I play with a high attack, high creative freedom, push up defence

I have all of my players set to cross ball - rarely and long shots rarely....short passing all

There is so much more to the tactic but hopefully this will give you a foundation
