I'd try going for players like Bojan, Immobile from Juventus, Destro from Roma. Guessing your in the premier league

Should have mentioned that im using LFC's new update, so majority of those guys are established at their clubs.

erm, Bony ? Balotelli is a beast if you know how to get the best out of him. And what role do you expect the striker to play ? if it's poacher you could sign Chicharito then.... as he should be cheap
Another alternatives are Giroud, Jovetic, Rodrigo, Jackson Martinez, Remy (but you manage QPR so is he still in your team ?), Benteke, Michu
