Im Into My 5th Season With Chelsea And For Some Reason Cannot Keep A Clean Sheet For Love Nor Money :S

My Current Line Up:

Played 15 Games This Season And Kept 1 Clean Sheet Against Arsenal XD

Thankfully I Have Only Lost 1 Game Due To Averaging 4 Goals Per Game.

Any Defensive Signings/Tactical Tweaks Would Be Appreciated.

If you are averaging four goals a game I would suggest that you are playing with too much focus on attack. Maybe alter the players mentality/creative freedom a bit if you want to keep more clean sheets....Having said that....if your scoring 4 goals a game......who cares!

As has been said it's all down to the tactic, the basic premise you're giving your players is score more than you concede, you're never really gonna keep many clean sheets this way. I also fear if you 'tweak' this tactic the whole thing will fall apart..is it a plug and play tactic?

I guess I would advise try building your own tactic and focus more on balance than one-up-man-ship. I've got a great home tactic going right now (P 25 W23 D2 GF69 GA 5), away yeah I've struggled but with a bit of help from the guys in the subforum I've also got a great away tactic now. There's always a good balance to be found.

And so its not off topic too much I agree with Hummels, I partner him with T. Silva or preferably B. Howedes, the double German effect. A decent holding midfielder works a treat too. Hummels can do that...
