Need Help With My Tactic

Hey guys, I have started a new manager with AS Roma and I created a tactic that offers many shots on target, good CCC, but it has a weak point that creates problems as far as I've seen in the first friendly matches.

The problem is that my team leaves a gap between midfield and defense especially on the flank side. You will say that it is because i use CWBs and not WBs with Defend or Support duty. So my question: How can i close that **** gap and still be able to have great support and crosses in the final third from the 2 leftbacks. You can see the areas that i wanna defend better.

P.S

I must say that this happens especially when I lose the ball up front and the other team is counter-attacking.

Maybe you could use the "Tighter Marking" shout? This might help when you lose possession your defenders and Mids will be closer to the opposing players and close them down quicker. Especially since you are pushing high up this could help.
