Negotiating wages?

Am I the only one who find it hard to negotiate wages properly. The agents only want to slightly reduce the salary claims, otherwise they get ****** off. Are you guys also experiencing this?

What I usually do is negotiate very low until they go on their last round,lowering their demands. Then I either accept it or get rid of the player. I also put all the budget I can into transfer,I think it might help.

Hmm... It doesn't works for me. It's worse than the previous versions of FM.
