ok, so i know there are a few threads going round with instructions on how to set up a network game, and i've read them but still no joy, so i'm going to tell you what i have done whilst trying to set it up, and maybe you can tell me of any mistakes we have made.
hosting:
- opened FM 2010, clicked preferences, network, typed name for the server along with password.
- ticked 'run as server' and force continue. and clicked confirm
-started a game with large database, English league from BSP upwards allowed.
- chosen manager profile and my team to manage, saved game.
trying to join:
- opened fm clicked join other server, join existing server, typed ip address of host (found in host's saved game under game status and also via RUN - cmd - ipconfig
- pressed join server and get 'unable to connect to server' everytime.
please help!
