network Game problems

Hi people

im trying to set up a new network game with a friend of mine but am having a few probelms doing so.

We both have wireless networks and connect via a belkin and bt router. I have tried following the guides already posted in this forum but am having problems setting it up still i.e static IP etc.

Anyone have any idiots guide to network gaming for football manager 2007 they could possible point me towards.

Set up static ip -> here.

Open ports -> here

The ports one is for Fm 2006 but it should be the same, just select your router and it will tell you how to set it up.

In FM 2010, i dont want to use hamachi, i cannot connect via ip, do i need a static ip??
