network game

my network game can take more than 24 hours to finish a season, there's only 2 of us, is there anyway to run it quicker?
obviously without closing down other programmes etc.

You can make all your matches at the same time. if you go to preferences and then untick the box that says something like "move matches for tv". This should make al the games throughout the season at the same time. I do believe you have to start the game again.

but i dont think there's a chance we can restart, we've put a fair amount of time in.

Well im not 100% sure you have to restart so you may aswel give it a go.
